Transcriptional activation of Cidec by PPARgamma2 in adipocyte.

Cidec is a lipid droplet-associated protein, which inhibits lipolysis, leading to the accumulation of triglycerides in adipocytes. However, the transcriptional regulation of Cidec in adipocyte remains unknown. In the present study we investigated that the mouse Cidec transcript is regulated by PPARgamma2.
