Yellowhorn (Xanthoceras sorbifolium Bunge) is an economically important tree species in northern China, mainly distributed in arid and semi-arid areas where water resources are scarce. Drought affects its yield and the expansion of its suitable growth area. It was found that the wax content in yellowhorn leaves varied significantly among different germplasms, which had a strong correlation with the drought resistance of yellowhorn.

The PVA nanofiber layers of different densities were obtained by adjusting the electrospinning time. Then, GO films were deposited on PVA nanofibers by a spin-coating method.

The purpose of this study was to compare CLIA to LC-MS/MS for PAC measurement in PA screening.
Methods: All participants underwent aldosterone-to-renin ratio (ARR) testing.
Accumulation and concentration of debris in deep hole electrical discharge machining (EDM) significantly hinder its machining efficiency and accuracy. It is believed that the movement of bubbles associated with the discharge gap flow field play a pivotal role in debris removal and influence the discharge conditions. Ultrasonic vibration (USV) of the electrode is thought to be an effective method for improving EDM-generated bubbles and debris exclusion.

Our objective was to investigate the link between serum creatinine, a proxy for skeletal muscle mass, and the development of postpartum abnormal glucose metabolism (AGM).
Methods: A retrospective review of the medical records of 501 women with GDM was conducted, all of whom underwent a 75 g oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT) between 4 and 12 weeks postpartum.

Objective: To explore the appropriate application of glycemic qualification rate (GQR) calculated by fingerstick blood glucose (BG) monitoring for patients with gestational diabetes mellitus (GDM) by analyzing the relationship between BG control and adverse pregnancy outcomes.
Methods: Fingerstick Blood Glucose data during the second and third trimester of singleton pregnant women diagnosed with GDM were collected. GQR which is defined as the percentage of fingerstick BG values reaching the targets of BG control in a period of time was calculated.
Toward the challenge on reliable determination of trace fentanyl to avoid opioid overdose death in drug crisis, here we realize rapid and direct detection of trace fentanyl in real human urine without pretreatment by a portable surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy (SERS) strategy on liquid/liquid interfacial (LLI) plasmonic arrays. It was observed that fentanyl could interact with the gold nanoparticles (GNPs) surface, facilitate the LLI self-assembly, and consequently amplify the detection sensitivity with a limit of detection (LOD) as low as 1 ng/mL in aqueous solution and 50 ng/mL spiked in urine. Furthermore, we achieve multiplex blind sample recognition and classification of ultratrace fentanyl doped in other illegal drugs, which has extremely low LODs at mass concentrations of 0.

The sympathoadrenal system has been shown to stimulate the secretory activity of enteroendocrine cells, although the response is transient. Our aim was to investigate the effects of long-term catecholamine excess on circulating glucagon-likepeptide-1 (GLP-1) levels in patients with pheochromocytoma/paraganglioma (PPGL). Thirty patients diagnosed with PPGL were analyzed.

This underscores the importance of evaluating imaging methods and prognostic factors to provide a clear basis for patient diagnosis and management.

The CPs reveal readily dispersible two-dimensional (2D) layer structures with considerable stability in aqueous media within a wide pH range (pH = 2-12). Sensing experiments indicate that they can serve as highly selective and sensitive fluorescent probes toward CrVI-anions (CrO42- and Cr2O72-).
