The GRAS [GRI (Gibberellic Acid Insensitive), RGA (Repressor of GAI-3 mutant), and SCR (Scarecrow)] transcription factors play a pivotal role in the development and stress responses of plants. is an important fast-growing tree species worldwide, yet its poor cold tolerance limits its cultivation range. This study conducted a bioinformatics analysis of grandis family and investigated the expression patterns of GRAS genes in different ploidy under cold treatment.

However, to date, no core collection has been selected from the germplasm resources of E. grandis based on growth and genetic relationship analysis.

Lignin is a crucial constituent of cell walls and plays a pivotal role in plant growth and development. However, the transcriptional regulatory network governing lignin biosynthesis is not fully understood. In this study, we observed that PpnCCT39 overexpression resulted in greener stems, larger basal diameters, and increased stem dry weight.

Currently, there are disputes regarding whether to perform a mitral valve intervention and which type of operation is more effective.
Methods: By searching PubMed, Cochrane, Embase, Web of Science, FDA.
Aims: We aim to investigate the causal effect of blood lipids mediating sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) inhibition in cardiovascular disease (CVD) using Mendelian randomization (MR).
Methods And Results: A two-sample two-step MR study was conducted to evaluate the association of SGLT2 inhibition with CVDs and the mediation effects of blood lipids linking SGLT2 inhibition with CVDs. Genetic instruments for SGLT2 inhibition were identified as genetic variants, which were associated with the expression of the SLC5A2 gene and glycated haemoglobin level (HbA1c).
Introduction: This study aimed to compare the early postoperative outcomes of right anterior thoracotomy minimally invasive aortic valve replacement (RAT-MIAVR) surgery with those of median full sternotomy aortic valve replacement (MFS-AVR) approach with the goal of identifying potential benefits or drawbacks of each technique.
Methods: This retrospective, observational, cohort study included 476 patients who underwent RAT-MIAVR or MFS-AVR in our hospital from January 2015 to January 2023. Of these, 107 patients (22.
Purpose: This study aimed to evaluate the early morphology and function of the left heart in hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) after transapical beating-heart septal myectomy (TA-BSM) using cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR).
Materials And Methods: Between April 2022 and January 2023, HOCM patients who underwent CMR before and 3 months after TA-BSM were prospectively and consecutively enrolled in the study. Preoperative and postoperative cardiac morphological and functional parameters, including those for the left atrium (LA) and left ventricle (LV), were compared.
Background: Coronary microvascular dysfunction (CMD) is a pathophysiological mechanism underlying hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM). However, few studies have investigated the potential effect of transapical beating-heart septal myectomy (TA-BSM) on coronary microvascular function. This study aimed to evaluate coronary microvascular function in HOCM after TA-BSM using cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) and to investigate the determinants of improvement in coronary microvascular dysfunction.

On admission, transthoracic echocardiography showed a typical hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) with asymmetric septal hypertrophy, significant LVOT obstruction and severe mitral regurgitation due to the systolic anterior movement of the anterior mitral valve leaflet. We performed a novel procedure of the transapical beating-heart septal myectomy, following which the LVOT obstruction was resolved.

This study aimed to investigate the predictive value of preoperative neutrophils in aorta-related adverse events (AAEs) after thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) for type B aortic dissection (TBAD).
Patients And Methods: A total of 80 patients with TBAD undergoing TEVAR were enrolled in our hospital.
Background: To simplify surgical septal reduction therapy for hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM), we developed a novel transapical beating-heart septal myectomy (TA-BSM) procedure.
Objectives: In this study, we sought to evaluate the clinical utility of TA-BSM in a first-in-human trial.
Methods: Patients with HOCM were enrolled if they presented with drug-refractory disabling symptoms.
Background: Lignin is a major restriction factor for the industrial production of biomass resources, such as pulp and bioenergy. Eucalyptus is one of the most important sources of pulp and bioenergy. After polyploidization, the lignin content of forest trees is generally reduced, which is considered a beneficial genetic improvement.
