Delayed occluder displacement following patent ductus arteriosus closure successfully managed with thoracic endovascular aortic repair: a case report and literature review.

Interventional occlusion of Patent ductus arteriosus (PDA) is generally efficacious and complications such as delayed occluder displacement are infrequent. Herein, we report a case of 24-year-old female with a history of unsuccessful PDA closures, who subsequently experienced delayed occluder displacement into the left main pulmonary artery. Despite numerous unsuccessful catheter-based interventions, thoracic endovascular aortic repair (TEVAR) was successfully executed.

Effects of artesunate on the malignant biological behaviors of non-small cell lung cancer in human and its mechanism.

We aimed to assess the effects of artesunate (ART) on the proliferation, migration, invasion and apoptosis of the non-small cell lung cancer cells A549 and H1299. The effects of ART and carboplatin (CBP) alone or in combination on the viability of A549 and H1299 cells were evaluated by MTT assay. The effects of 30 μg/ml ART on cell invasion, migration and apoptosis were evaluated by Transwell assay, scratch assay and flow cytometry, respectively.

Large mural thrombus in the non-aneurysmal and non-atherosclerotic ascending aorta: a case report.

Background: The mural thrombus in the ascending aorta is rare, most of which are associated with aneurysm or atherosclerotic lesions, with high risks of causing catastrophic thrombotic events. A mural thrombus in the non-aneurysmal and non-atherosclerotic ascending aorta is exceptionally uncommon.

Case Presentation: We reported a large mural thrombus in normal ascending aorta of an asymptomatic patient.
