- Researchers found that using ferrous complexes with the triisopropanolamine (TIPA) ligand helps improve battery longevity by preventing cross-contamination, thanks to their steric hindrance effect.
- Testing showed that the Fe-TIPA/Fe-CN AIRFBs have remarkable stability over 1831 cycles with an energy efficiency of around 80%, and the cost to produce the TIPA electrolyte is projected to be significantly lower than current market prices.
The far infrared polarimeter-interferometer system (POLARIS) on the Joint-TEXT has been upgraded recently. A new support structure has been applied to the mixer array of the POLARIS for adjusting the position of the mixers precisely. Five detection chords have been added to the system on the low field side by optimizing the utilization efficiency of the laser beams on both sides of the beam splitting grid.

However, the lack of visible light absorption and unsatisfactory photocatalytic activity restrict the potential applications of ZnO. In the study, a novel in-situ electrochemical growth strategy was developed to construct α-FeO-ZnO rod/reduced graphene oxide (rGO) heterostructure for extending visible-light absorption ability and improving the photoexcited carrier transport process.
