Livestock manure faced acute environmental pollution and ecology risky caused by antibiotic resistance genes (ARGs). This study investigated the effects of biochar particle size including powder biochar (75 μm, PB), and granular biochar (2 mm, GB) on ARGs variation during the aerobic composting. The results showed that the total relative abundance (RA) of the ARGs decreased significantly in all the treatments after composting.

In this paper, boron-doped diamond (BDD) electro-activated persulfate was studied to decompose malachite green (MG). The degradation results indicate that the decolorization performance of MG for the BDD electro-activated persulfate (BDD-EAP) system is 3.37 times that of BDD electrochemical oxidation (BDD-EO) system, and BDD-EAP system also exhibited an enhanced total organic content (TOC) removal (2.

A facile method for the fabrication of crosslinked chitosan/graphene nanoplates composite sphere (CS/GNPs) was presented. The obtained samples were characterized by transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopic (XPS) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA). The adsorption activities of CS/GNPs for methyl orange (MO) and acid red 1 (AR1) were evaluated such as the effect of pH and GNPs content, as well as adsorption kinetics and isotherms.
