Experimental and clinical evidence points to a critical role of Upregulator of cell proliferation (URGCP/URG4) in controlling the progression of multiple tumors. However, the oncogenic role of URGCP in glioma still remains elusive. In this study we tried to investigate the oncogenic roles and molecular mechanisms of URGCP in glioma.

Recent studies indicated that axon guidance molecules may play a role in synaptic reorganization in the adult brain and thereby promote epileptogenesis. This study aimed to investigate expression pattern of CRMP-1 in epileptogenesis.

It consists of 13 subunits (EIF3A to M), among which EIF3B serves as a major scaffolding subunit. However, its functions in human glioblastoma have not been explored yet.

Background And Aims: The mechanism of intestinal immune inflammation, such as food allergy, remains to be further understood. The present study aims to investigate the role of the vagal nerve in the pathogenesis of skewed T-helper 2 (Th2) responses in the intestine.
Methods: The expression of the immunoglobulin E (IgE) receptor on the vagus nerve in the mouse intestine was observed by immunohistochemistry.
