Purpose: To evaluate and compare the efficacy of a newly designed in-house assistive internal fluid circulatory device in ureteroscopic lithotripsy for ureteral stones.

Methods: In this study, 97 patients were assigned to the trial group and underwent ureteroscopic lithotripsy with an in-house newly designed assistive internal fluid circulatory device; 96 patients were assigned to the control group and underwent traditional ureteroscopic lithotripsy without the assistive device. The primary outcome was the final stone-free rate (SFR) at 1-month post-surgery.

A unique sandwich structure FeO@C@MoSe architecture is proposed for high-performance lithium storage. Carbon shell as the connection of in/external structures can not only improve the overall conductivity but also alleviate the volume expansion of FeO and avoid the aggregation of MoSe nanosheets. Moreover, MoSe nanosheets on carbon shell demonstrate enlarged interlayer spacing, which can accelerate the kinetics of Li, and thus improve the rate performance.

On-surface synthesis has shown great promise in the precise bottom-up preparation of molecular nanostructures. We report an experimental investigation of quantum correlations in a two-qutrit spin system in a single nitrogen-vacancy center in diamond at room temperatures. Quantum entanglement between two qutrits was observed at room temperature, and the existence of nonclassical correlations beyond entanglement in the qutrit case has been revealed. Our work demonstrates the potential of the NV centers as the multiqutrit system to execute quantum information tasks and provides a powerful experimental platform for studying the fundamental physics of high-dimensional quantum systems in the future.

Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is one of the leading causes of cancer-related mortality globally with a high risk of lymph node metastasis (LNM). In this study, weighted gene co-expression network analysis (WGCNA) showed the identification of 10 modules among which the significant module (turquoise), including 1352 genes, was correlated with LNM.
