A new species of the Asian leaf litter toad genus is described from Guizhou Province, China. Molecular phylogenetic analyses support the new species as an independent lineage deeply nested in the clade. The new species is distinguished from its congeners by a combination of the following morphological characters: body size medium (SVL 29.

In the present study, a total of 350 fungal strains were isolated from the uncommon moso bamboo (Phyllostachys edulis) seeds for the first time. The molecular diversity of these endophytic fungi was investigated and bioactive compound producers were screened for the first time.

Citrate ions were found to still be adsorbed on the Au surface when citrate-capped AuNPs were modified with Tween 20, which stabilizes the citrate-capped AuNPs against conditions of high ionic strength. When citrate ions had reduced Hg(2+) and Ag(+) to form Hg-Au alloys and Ag on the surface of the AuNPs, Tween 20 was removed from the NP surface.

Identification of salts is a principal problem for analysis of fluid inclusions in reservoirs. The fluid inclusions from deep natural gas reservoirs in Minfeng sub-sag were analyzed by in situ cryogenic Raman spectroscopy. The type of fluid inclusions was identified by Raman spectroscopy at room temperature.
