Rationale: Mirizzi syndrome (MS) is an uncommon condition characterized by common hepatic duct (CHD) compression by an impacted gallbladder or cystic duct stones or adjacent inflammation. To date, a standardized therapeutic strategy for MS has not been established yet, owing to its complex clinical presentation. Thus, researchers still have to develop new optimized approaches to solve this problem.

Evaluation of a beneficial effect of adjuvant chemotherapy in patients with stage I triple-negative breast cancer: a population-based study using the SEER 18 database.

Purpose: To evaluate the effect of adjuvant chemotherapy on improving the prognosis of patients with stage I triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC).

Methods: TNBC patients diagnosed in the SEER 18 database from 2010 to 2015 were included. Kaplan-Meier plots and log-rank tests were used to compare the differences in breast cancer-specific survival (BCSS) and overall survival (OS) between subgroups of variables.
