Cerebral collateral circulation and blood-brain barrier (BBB) are critically required to maintain the normal brain functions, a fact stressing the need for accurate and in vivo diagnostic tools that can afford valuable pathophysiological insight into the functioning of neurovascular unit in space and time. Currently, understanding of collateral perfusion and BBB evolution under both physiological and pathological conditions remains sparse, largely owing to limitations in methods for recording diminutive route of cerebral blood flow. Here, it is reported that highly crystalline semiconducting organic nanoprobes (named 4T-BSA) composed of small-molecule dye and bovine serum albumin showed vast potential for live-brain vascular imaging in the second near-infrared window (NIR-II, 1000-1700 nm).

In this paper, we introduce a method for detecting and localizing abnormalities in three dimensional DMC system with multiple sensors, receivers and one fusion center by adopting Transformer-based model with attention mechanism.

This study aimed to evaluate the extended safety and efficacy of MSC treatment in severe patients with COVID-19 who participated in our earlier randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial, with follow-up conducted over 3 years.
Methods: One hundred patients with severe COVID-19 were randomized to receive either an MSC infusion (n = 65, 4 × 10 cells/dose, on days 0, 3, and 6) or a placebo, with both groups receiving the standard of care.
Accurate detection of malignant transformation in oral potentially malignant disorders (OPMDs) is crucial for guiding effective treatment and improving patient management. This study evaluates the potential of MET-binding peptide-indocyanine green (cMBP-ICG), a mesenchymal-epithelial transition factor (MET)-targeted near-infrared fluorescence imaging (NIRFI) probe, for biopsy site selection in OPMDs. Preclinical results demonstrate the superior accuracy of NIRFI-assisted biopsy over conventional oral examination (COE)-based biopsy in detecting high-grade dysplasia (HGD) or squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) and reducing missed detection rates.

However, its sluggish reaction kinetics and structural instability limit its practical application in ZIBs. In this paper, a one-step method for preparing nickel-doped δ-MnO (Ni-δ-MnO) at room temperature is introduced.

This intricate microenvironment contributes to the cancer's resistance to conventional chemoradiotherapy and its poor prognosis. Carbon monoxide (CO), a promising molecule in gas therapy, can effectively penetrate solid tumors and induce tumor cell apoptosis at high concentrations.

Methods: SS patients with biopsy-proven kidney involvement who were diagnosed at our center between April 2007 and February 2024 were retrospectively reviewed and analyzed.
Results: A total of 290 SS patients with kidney involvement were enrolled.
Background: As the most prevalent fragility fracture caused by osteoporosis, increasing attention was paid to vertebral compression fractures (VCF) day by day. Percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) had unique advantages in treatment of VCF and was used widely. However, there were still part patients suffering from residual or unrelieved pain after the surgery.

For the early diagnosis and precise treatment of diseases, it has become necessary and significant to detect biomarkers with sensitivity, accuracy, simplicity, convenience, and even visualization. Fluorescent-probe-based techniques have been recognized as one of the most powerful tools for the sensitive detection and real time imaging of biomarkers in biological samples.

Fibroblast activation protein (FAP) is a key biomarker of CAFs. However, there is limited evidence on using FAP as a target in near-infrared (NIR) fluorescence imaging for HCC.

Fibroblast-like synoviocytes (FLSs) exhibit excessive proliferative and aggressive phenotypes and play a major role in the pathophysiology of RA. Previous studies have confirmed the pathologic role of L-selectin in cell adhesion and migration.

It is imperative, but often underemphasized, to simultaneously regulate the solid-electrolyte interphase (SEI) to counter dendrite growth and the cathode-electrolyte interphase (CEI) to mitigate cathode deterioration. Herein, we introduce lithium 2-trifluoromethyl-4,5-dicyanoimidazolide (LiTDI) as an efficacious additive in a carbonate-based electrolyte to extend cycle lifespan of full SMBs: the capacity retention reaches 77.

Although fluorinated solvents are utilized in high-voltage systems for their superior oxidation resistance, linear fluorinated carbonates still undergo elimination reactions at high voltages, producing corrosive substances that compromise electrode materials. This study addresses the elimination reaction of methyl trifluoroethyl carbonate (FEMC) by incorporating tris(trimethylsilyl)-based additives, thereby constructing a homogeneous and robust polymer-rich cathode-electrolyte interphase (CEI).
