Hyperlipidemia is a major risk factor for hypertension, coronary heart disease, diabetes and stroke, triggering an intensified research efforts into its prevention and treatment. Tetrahydroberberrubine (THBru) is a derivative of berberine (BBR) that has been shown to have higher bioavailability and lower toxicity compared to its parent compound. However, its impact on hyperlipidemia has not been fully explored.

However, simple methods for presenting chiral nanostructures with tunable and considerable chiroptical responses in the near-infrared-I regime remains underexplored. Herein, two sheets of suspended symmetric bilayer metagratings fabricated single-step electron beam lithography are stacked into a moiré metasurface with its circular dichroism value reaching up to 20.

Unfortunately, this economic and environmentally friendly process suffers from low yield and poor Faradaic efficiency resulting from the mismatched oxidative capacity of reactive oxygen species and pronounced side reactions. Herein, we developed an earth-abundant metal-based nanocluster CuO-modified MnO catalyst for the efficient electrooxidation of propylene into propylene glycol, achieving a remarkable production rate of 63.

Hence, we have developed a series of programmable aptamer-based multispecific engagers by encoding various artificial aptamer-drug codons with DNA-templated polymerization, aiming to broadly boost innate and adaptive immunity for antitumor therapy. All circular single-stranded multivalent aptamer-drug conjugates (os-mvApDCs) had a dendritic structure, precise size, and excellent stability, enabling prolonged blood circulation, targeted tumor accumulation, and rapid multireceptor-mediated endocytosis.

While the specific etiology of UC remains unclear, it is generally believed that it is related to many factors, among which the imbalance in the expression of molecules involved in pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory processes can lead to UC. CCL5 (C-C chemokine ligand 5) is one of the key pro-inflammatory factors and plays an indispensable role in various inflammatory diseases, including UC.

However, achieving precise control of the light source intensity in a field MP-QKD experiment is an exceedingly challenging task. In this Letter, we study the decoy-state MP-QKD protocol with light source intensity fluctuations.

Here, we present the development of an efficient Pt/CeO catalyst for electrocatalytic N oxidation to nitrate. Characterization results indicate that highly dispersed Pt and oxygen vacancies from CeO nanocubes (NCs) exhibit strong interactions, which promote the N adsorption on the catalyst surface and suppress the competitive OER activity on oxygen vacancies, resulting in significantly enhanced e-NOR performance.

Among the metabolic abnormalities associated with PCOS, obesity is often present concurrently. Nevertheless, the correlation between obesity, sex hormone levels, and blood lipid profiles in PCOS patients with IR remains uncertain.

In this work, we demonstrate an LC-based polarization-dependent, electrically tunable beam deflector, which is a composite blazed grating fabricated using a single-step photopolymerization-induced phase separation (PIPS) technique. We investigated the effect of different factors on the performance of the deflector, including the thickness of the upper substrate, the grating period, and the cell gap.

Objectives: Azvudine has been designated as a priority treatment for patients infected with SARS-CoV-2, however, clinical evidence in hospitalized cases remains insufficient.
Methods: We performed a multi-center, retrospective cohort study to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of azvudine in hospitalized patients with SARS-CoV-2 in China (NCT06349655). Kaplan-Meier method, Cox regression model, subgroup analysis, and seven sensitive analyses were employed.
Direct current (DC) motors are crucial in drones, robotics, and electrical devices. Conventionally, the DC motor is driven by a switching electricity converter, which utilizes electrical energy to drive mechanical motion. However, the rapid on-off switching actions in the switching electricity converter would cause electromagnetic interference (EMI), impairing the functionality of drive systems.

Specifically, while position encoding preserves some of the ordering information, the self-attention mechanism at the core of the Transformer has its alignment invariance that leads to the loss of temporal information, which is crucial for trajectory prediction. For this reason, we design a simple and efficient strategy for temporal information extraction and prediction of trajectory sequences using the self-attention mechanism and linear layers.

Data Synthesis: In order to find studies investigating the effect of CRT on health-related outcomes among patients with HF, we performed a systematic search of PubMed, Cochrane Library, Embase, and Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature databases (inception until February 12th, 2023). A total of 10 studies including 933 individuals met the inclusion criteria.
Grasp planning is crucial for robots to perform precision grasping tasks, where determining the grasp points significantly impacts the performance of the robotic hand. Currently, the majority of grasp planning methods based on analytic approaches solve the problem by transforming it into a nonlinear constrained planning problem. This method often requires performing convex hull computations, which tend to have high computational complexity.
