Background: Available treatments for relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma (RRMM) include multiclass triplet regimens such as lenalidomide and dexamethasone (Rd backbone) plus ixazomib (proteasome inhibitor [PI]; I) or daratumumab (monoclonal antibody; D). Although prior real-world studies compared PI-Rd triplets, this research extends those findings by comparing health care costs of a PI-based and a monoclonal antibody-based triplet, IRd and DRd, in patients with RRMM in the United States.

Objective: To describe and compare all-cause and MM-related health care costs in patients with RRMM treated with IRd vs DRd.

Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a chronic nonspecific inflammatory bowel disease characterized mainly by inflammatory changes in the intestinal mucosa. While the specific etiology of UC remains unclear, it is generally believed that it is related to many factors, among which the imbalance in the expression of molecules involved in pro-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory processes can lead to UC. CCL5 (C-C chemokine ligand 5) is one of the key pro-inflammatory factors and plays an indispensable role in various inflammatory diseases, including UC.

The mode-pairing quantum key distribution (MP-QKD) protocol, which can achieve high key rates over long distances without phase locking, is a potential candidate for implementing intercity QKD. However, achieving precise control of the light source intensity in a field MP-QKD experiment is an exceedingly challenging task. In this Letter, we study the decoy-state MP-QKD protocol with light source intensity fluctuations.

A large number of sensors are required to collect information during the operation of nuclear power plants to ensure their absolutely safe operation. However, because of the unique nature of nuclear reactions, the physical environment of nuclear power production is prone to changes, leading to concept drift in the data collected by the sensors. Concept drift describes the phenomenon of sample distribution changing over time, which typically negatively impacts the model's training and inference processes.

Microbial-driven V(V) reduction plays a crucial role in its biogeochemical cycle, yet the mechanisms underlying this bioreduction remain inadequately understood. While the effectiveness of organic compounds as electron donors in facilitating bacterial reduction of V(V) has been established, the role of inorganic electron donors in initiating this process at the level of pure cultured bacteria has not been explored. In this study, we report on a marine Shewanella sp.

Here, we present the development of an efficient Pt/CeO catalyst for electrocatalytic N oxidation to nitrate. Characterization results indicate that highly dispersed Pt and oxygen vacancies from CeO nanocubes (NCs) exhibit strong interactions, which promote the N adsorption on the catalyst surface and suppress the competitive OER activity on oxygen vacancies, resulting in significantly enhanced e-NOR performance.

Monoamine transporters function in neuronal membranes to control extracellular concentrations of their substrates. Cell-surface expression of transporters is regulated by substrates and intracellular signaling, but the underlying mechanisms remain unclear. Here, we found that substrates of the dopamine transporter (DAT), amphetamine and dopamine, synergize with protein kinase C (PKC)-dependent DAT ubiquitination to markedly elevate clathrin-mediated endocytosis of DAT, which is accompanied by DAT movement out of plasma membrane protrusions with a negative curvature.
