This study attempted to derive the optimal number of shells by evaluating the auto-plans designed with different number of shells for peripheral lung cancer patients treated with SBRT.
Methods: Identical treatment technique, optimization process, constraints, and dose calculation algorithm in the Pinnacle TPS were retrospectively applied to 50 peripheral lung cancer patients who underwent SBRT in our center.
The lungs and skin are important respiratory organs in Anura, but the pulmonary structure of amphibians remains unclear due to the lack of a suitable procedure. This study improved the procedure used for fixing lungs tissues and used light microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and scanning electron microscopy to reveal the differences in the lung and skin morphologies between Pelophylax nigromaculatus (P. nigromaculatus) and Bufo gargarizans (B.

The neuromuscular junction (NMJ) bouton is a well-known model system in neuroscience, and ghost and satellite boutons, respectively, indicate the poor development and overgrowth of the NMJ boutons. However, the neurexin (DNrx) and neuroligins (DNlgs) are mainly observed in type Ib boutons, indicating the ultrastructural and developmental phenotypes of the NMJ.

In this study, the adhesion properties of the six strains were determined to explore their potential to be used as probiotics. The hydrophobicity and aggregation activity were firstly detected and were varied from 14.

Exposure to arsenic exerts the immunosuppressive properties of dendritic cells (DCs). Autophagy is a self-renewal process of cells, which degrades damaged macromolecules and organelles through the lysosomal pathway.

Patients And Methods: We retrospectively enrolled 266 patients who had stage IV lung adenocarcinoma and received first-line TKI treatment from 2013 to 2017 in Shanghai Chest Hospital. The clinical characteristics at initial diagnosis, progression patterns, and failure sites were analyzed with the attempt to identify some predictive factors for progression patterns and failure sites.
Purpose: Acupuncture is an effective therapy for Internet addiction (IA). However, the underlying mechanisms of acupuncture in relieving compulsive Internet use remain unknown. Neuroimaging studies have demonstrated the role of the ventral striatum (VS) in the progress of IA; hence, the aim of this study was to explore the effects of acupuncture on the resting-state functional connectivity (rsFC) and relevant network of VS in IA.

However, low efficiency and accompanying negative impacts such as undesirable indels or tumorigenic potential remain problematic. In this study, we present an enhanced reduced-risk genome editing strategy we named as NEO, which used either site-specific trans or cis double-nicking facilitated by four bacterial recombination factors (RecOFAR).

This study demonstrates the efficacy of collagen/tussah silk fibroin (Col/TSF) hybrid scaffolds loaded with bone mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) in skin repair. Collagen (Col) and tussah silk fibroin (TSF) were extracted from bovine tendons and tussah cocoons, respectively. Col/TSF scaffolds were obtained using a freeze-drying method and were characterised using fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, porosity, water retention, thermal stability, and biocompatibility.

A growing body of evidence suggests that seizures cause structural and functional alterations of the brain. It is reported that behavioral abnormalities frequently occur in patients with epilepsy and experimental epilepsy models.

This conversion tolerates a broad range of functional groups and can be used to scale the preparation of -substituted rhodanines in excellent yields.

Cross-adaptation, which can improve the stress tolerance of strains, temporarily supplies more matching bases in transcriptome-phenotype matching approaches to reveal novel gene functions in stress responses. Transcriptome-phenotype matching based on RNA sequencing was implemented to reveal the cross-adaptation mechanism of Lactobacillus rhamnosus hsryfm 1301 in response to heat stress and oxidative stress. A total of 242 genes were upregulated and 320 genes were downregulated under heat stress, while 135 genes were upregulated and 206 genes were downregulated under oxidative stress.

Utilizing deep sequencing on the feces of untreated AS patients, our study aimed at providing an in-depth understanding of AS gut microbiota.
Methods: We analyzed the fecal metagenome of 85 untreated AS patients and 62 healthy controls by metagenomic shotgun sequencing, and 23 post-treatment feces of those AS patients were collected for comparison.

Internet addiction (IA) has become a global mental and social problem, which may lead to a series of psychiatric symptoms including uncontrolled use of internet, and lack of concentration. However, the exact pathophysiology of IA remains unclear. Most of functional connectivity studies were based on pre-selected regions of interest (ROI), which could not provide a comprehensive picture of the communication abnormalities in IA, and might lead to limited or bias observations.

Unfortunately, the intrinsic properties of poor cycle life, low energy density and uncontrolled dendrite growth during the charge/discharge process for metallic Zn anodes significantly hinder their practical application. In this work, we rationally designed two-dimensional (2D) δ-MnO nanofluidic channels by the ordered restacking of exfoliated MnO single atomic layers, which exhibited a high zinc ion transport coefficient (1.

However, the inherent cardiopulmonary toxicity and hazardous integration limit its therapeutic effect on RB. However, in the past few years, the emergence of more CAP-resistant (CAP) TB patients has limited its use. Although it has been reported that CAP resistance to Mycobacterium tuberculosis (Mtb) is associated with rrs or tlyA mutation, the exact mechanism of CAP Mtb strains, especially the mechanism associated with tlyA deficient or mutation, is not fully understood.

Methods: A cross-sectional study was performed on patients with lumbar disc herniation treated in our hospital between October 2015 and August 2018. Visual analog scale and Oswestry disability index were used to assess pain intensity and lumbar function, and Zung self-rating depression and anxiety scale were employed to evaluate the depression and anxiety status of the patients, and the demographic and clinical data including age, gender, marital status, occupation type, employment status, education level, surgery history, herniation type, disease duration, and insurance status were collected for analysis.
The purpose of this study was to examine how culture shapes creativity by reviewing empirical findings across diverse studies. The impact of culture on creativity is typically manifested in three ways: (1) people from different cultures or settings have distinct implicit and/or explicit conceptions of creativity; (2) individuals from different cultures, particularly those from individualist and collectivist cultures, show differences in preferred creative processes and creative processing modes (e.g.
