Correlation study on the relationship between dyslipidemia and carotid intima-media thickness in patients with diabetes mellitus.

Objective: To investigate the correlation between dyslipidemia and carotid intima-media thickness (IMT) in patients with diabetes mellitus.

Methods: A descriptive research design was adopted in this study. One hundred and twenty patients with Type-2 diabetes mellitus who were admitted to the physical examination center of The Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University from June 2020 to June 2021 for physical examination were recruited to the experimental group.
