Higher alkanes are a major class of intermediate volatile organic compounds (IVOCs) emitted by vehicles, which have been considered as important precursors of secondary organic aerosol (SOA) in urban area. Dynamometer experiments were conducted to characterize emissions from gasoline and diesel vehicles in China. Three types of higher alkanes, namely acyclic, cyclic, and bicyclic alkanes, were explicitly quantified through the novel proton transfer reaction time-of-flight mass spectrometer with NO ionization (NO PTR-ToF-MS) with time response of 1 second.

To understand the colonization status of Group B Streptococcus (GBS) in the reproductive tract of pregnant women in the Linyi region, the drug resistance, genotype distribution, and molecular epidemiological characteristics of GBS, and to explore the high-risk factors for GBS infection in late-stage pregnant women. A total of 3269 pregnant women at 35-37 weeks of gestation who visited the Obstetrics Department of Linyi Maternal and Child Health Hospital from January 2019 to December 2021 were selected as the study subjects. To investigate the occurrence and managements of poor recovery after total endoscopic middle ear surgery. A total of 302 cases(315 ears) who underwent endoscopic middle ear surgery in our hospital from June 2020 to June 2021 were collected. Follow up by means of endoscopy, pure tone hearing threshold, tympanogram was conducted at 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year after surgery to analyze the incidence, possible causes, treatment strategies and effects of poor results tympanic membrane healing and hearing recovery.

We present a redox-mediated photocatalysis for separate hydrogen production and sulfide oxidation. The process involves photocatalytic hydrogen production and Fe(CN) oxidation, followed by spontaneous Fe(CN) reduction and sulfide oxidation to valued sulfur. In this approach, Fe(CN) redox mediators were recycled, and the produced sulfur wouldn't interfere with the photocatalytic performance.

Electrosynthesis of hydrogen peroxide (HO) based on proton exchange membrane (PEM) reactor represents a promising approach to industrial-level HO production, while it is hampered by the lack of high-efficiency electrocatalysts in acidic medium. Herein, we present a strategy for the specific oxygen functional group (OFG) regulation to promote the HO selectivity up to 92 % in acid on cobalt-porphyrin molecular assembled with reduced graphene oxide. In situ X-ray adsorption spectroscopy, in situ Raman spectroscopy and Kelvin probe force microscopy combined with theoretical calculation unravel that different OFGs exert distinctive regulation effects on the electronic structure of Co center through either remote (carboxyl and epoxy) or vicinal (hydroxyl) interaction manners, thus leading to the opposite influences on the promotion in 2e ORR selectivity.
