Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is an endocrine disease associated with reproduction. The Cuscuta-Salvia formula has been widely used to treat for PCOS in clinic. However, its chemical and pharmacological properties remain unclear.

The crisis of male infertility is an issue of human reproductive health worldwide. The Wuzi Yanzong pill (WZYZP) is a traditional Chinese medicine prescription that shows efficacy in kidney reinforcement and essence benefit to ameliorate male reproductive dysfunctions. However, the pharmacological mechanisms of the WZYZP on male infertility have not been investigated and clarified clearly.

[Applicability Comparison and Application Study of Two Methods for Determination of the Copper Complexing Capacity of Waters].

Complexing capacity (CC) is an important indicator affecting the environmental behavior of heavy metals in water, which can be determined by different methods based on different mechanisms. To validate and compare the applicability of different methods in CC determination, the complexing capacity of Cu (CuCC) in solutions of ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA) and acesulfame was determined by methods of dithizone extraction kinetics (DEK) and ion-selective electrodes (ISE), while EDTA and acesulfame were selected to represent strong and weak ligands in water, respectively. DEK method was found to be more suitable for determining the contribution of strong ligands to CuCC, while the results determined by ISE were related to both the strong and weak ligands in water.

[Spectral Analysis of Trace Fluorine Phase in Phosphogypsum].

Phosphogypsum, which contains more than 90% of the calcium sulfate dehydrate (CaSO4 · 2H2O), is a kind of important renewable gypsum resources. Unlike the natural gypsum, however, phosphorus, fluorine, organic matter and other harmful impurities in phosphogypsum limit its practical use. To ascertain the existence form, content and phase distribution of trace fluoride in phosphogypsum has important theoretical values in removing trace fluoride effectively.

[Effect of modified cangfu daotan decoction in improving endometrial receptivity in infertility patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome].

Objective: To study the effect and potential mechanism of Modified Cangfu Daotan Decoction (MCDD) on endometrial receptivity in infertility patients with polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).

Methods: Totally 298 women having normal ovulation who underwent artificial insemination were recruited as the control group, and they received no drug therapy. Another 355 infertility patients with PCOS who received ovarian stimulation therapy were recruited as the treatment group.
