The full utilization of lignocellulose involves two distinct catalytic routes: i) oxidative depolymerization of lignin and ii) acid/alkaline hydrolysis of hemicellulose and cellulose. To improve efficiency and reduce costs, constructing a single-cluster catalyst represents a desirable yet challenging strategy. Herein, triple-functional molecular polyoxometalates (POMs), NLLHVMoO (n = 1-6) were fabricated using N-lauroyl-l-lysine (NLL) and HVMoO as precursors.

This phenomenon has become a pressing global concern, as the dissemination of false information can have severe consequences, including widespread panic, social instability, and even public health crises.
Objective: The aim of the study is to compare the accuracy of rumor identification and the effectiveness of health science popularization between 2 generated large language models in Chinese (GPT-4 by OpenAI and Enhanced Representation through Knowledge Integration Bot [ERNIE Bot] 4.
The integration of digital technologies into health care has significantly enhanced the efficiency and effectiveness of care coordination. Our perspective paper explores the digital information ecosystems in modern care coordination, focusing on the processes of information generation, updating, transmission, and exchange along a patient's care pathway. We identify several challenges within this ecosystem, including interoperability issues, information silos, hard-to-map patient care journeys, increased workload on health care professionals, coordination and communication gaps, and compliance with privacy regulations.

Surgical intervention, employing an endoscopic technique with a navigation system, targets and ablates nociceptive nerve fibers associated with SIJ pain, although the clinical effect of omitting rhizotomy of the lateral sacral branch of S3 remains uncertain.
Objectives: This study aimed to compare the clinical outcomes of 2 full-endoscopic rhizotomy and ablation (FERA) techniques for SIJ pain and to determine the effect of omitting rhizotomy of the lateral sacral branch of S3 on patient outcomes.
Background: The neurolytic celiac plexus block (NCPB) can be introduced through the posterior para-aortic, anterior para-aortic, posterior transaortic, or endoscopic anterior para-aortic puncture approach, as well as the posterior approach via the intervertebral disc. To reduce the complications of puncture, this block's original manual blind puncture technique can be improved upon by using a C-arm fluoroscope, computed tomography (CT), or an ultrasound, the last of which may be endoscopic.
Objective: To observe the distribution of absolute alcohol and its analgesic effect on cancer-induced upper abdominal visceral pain during percutaneous NCPB through the anterior and posterior diaphragmatic crura under CT guidance.

Background: Sex differences in blood pressure (BP) levels and hypertension are important and the role of socioeconomic status (SES) in sex differences in hypertension remains unclear.
Objective: This study aimed to evaluate the impact of SES on sex differences of hypertension in a nationally representative survey study.
Methods: A total of 98,658 participants aged ≥18 years who have lived in their current residence for ≥6 months were recruited from 162 study sites across mainland China.

Background: In recent years, the frequent outbreaks of infectious diseases and insufficient emergency response capabilities, particularly issues exposed during the COVID-19 pandemic, have underscored the critical role of nurses in addressing public health crises. It is currently necessary to investigate the emergency preparedness of nursing personnel following the COVID-19 pandemic completely liberalized, aiming to identify weaknesses and optimize response strategies.
Objective: This study aimed to assess the emergency response competence of nurses, identify their specific training needs, and explore the various elements that impact their emergency response competence.

Background: Understanding the impact of asthma on public health is crucial for evidence-based prevention and treatment strategies.
Objective: This study aimed to identify the causes of asthma-related mortality in Pudong, Shanghai, China, offering insights for managing similar regions or countries in transition.
Methods: Mortality statistics were obtained from the Vital Statistics System of Pudong for 2005-2021.
Assessing the nutritional value of muscle food (MF) necessitates comprehensive component analysis. Traditional chemical analytical methods are often time-intensive, destructive, and environmentally detrimental, requiring specialized laboratory expertise. Hyperspectral imaging (HSI) emerges as an innovative technique that effectively integrates spectral and spatial information to enable rapid, nondestructive, and multidimensional predictions of nutritional parameters in MF.

These approaches, however, may fail to identify MSI on one or more sub-clones for certain cancers with a high degree of heterogeneity, leading to erroneous diagnoses and unsuitable treatments. Besides, the computational cost of identifying sub-clonal MSI can be exponentially increased when multiple sub-clones with different length distributions share MSI status.

Bud dormancy is an important adaptation mechanism to low temperatures, and its timing is economically significant for tea production. However, the core molecular networks regulating dormancy and bud break in tea plants remain unclear.

In this research, we introduce a complementary Eastern perspective to understand uniqueness preferences and argue that uniqueness preferences can also reflect a strategic motive where people in East Asian cultures may also value uniqueness because of the instrumental material and social benefits they believe uniqueness may confer. We tested our propositions in nine preregistered studies contrasting the decision making of people in the United States with those in China.

Method: A systematic review and meta-analysis were conducted according to the PRISMA guideline in PubMed, Web of Science, EMBASE, the Cochrane Library, CINAHL, and Scopus for studies of randomized controlled trials reporting ePRO-based symptom management from January 1st, 2018, to May 31st, 2023. Two reviewers independently assessed risk-of-bias using Cochrane Risk-of-Bias version 2 and extracted the data.
Background: Metabolic-associated steatohepatitis (MASH) is one of the most prevalent liver diseases worldwide, with a global prevalence estimated between 3% and 5%, posing a significant health burden. Human liver organoids (HLOs) have previously been generated to model steatohepatitis, offering a potential cellular disease model for studying MASH. However, the current HLO model lacks detailed molecular characterizations and requires further improvement.

The anti-hyperglycemic properties of chloroquine may be attributed to its anti-inflammatory response and its ability to activate the insulin signaling pathway. However, both animal and clinical studies have yielded mixed results.

The solid-state nanochannels exhibit certain similarities with neurons. Information transmission can be achieved by controlling the flow of ions within nanochannels, rendering them potentially suitable for simulating neuron behavior.
