Primary intestinal diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (PI-DLBCL) is clinically rare, but in recent years, with the gradual maturity of pathology and molecular biology technology, its incidence rate and diagnosis rate have also increased. Due to the lack of specificity of the clinical symptoms of PI-DLBCL, it is easy to misdiagnose and miss the diagnosis, and there is no consensus on the best treatment of PI-DLBCL in clinical practice. Therefore, by retrieving the latest literature at home and abroad, this review systematically discusses the pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, diagnostic criteria, treatment and prognosis of PI-DLBCL, in order to improve the understanding of rare PI-DLBCL in hematology and oncology, and provide reference for basic research and clinical diagnosis and treatment of PI-DLBCL.

Objective: The aberrant mobilization and activation of various T lymphocyte subpopulations play a pivotal role in the pathogenesis of diabetic kidney disease (DKD), yet the regulatory mechanisms underlying these processes remain poorly understood. Our study is premised on the hypothesis that the dysregulation of immune checkpoint molecules on T lymphocytes disrupts kidney homeostasis, instigates pathological inflammation, and promotes DKD progression.

Methods: A total of 360 adult patients with DKD were recruited for this study.

Background: Currently, the mechanisms of impaired gut mucosal immunity in sepsis remain unclear. Gut immunoglobulin A (IgA) is an important defense mechanism against invasive pathogens, and CD4 T cells regulate the IgA response.

Aim: We aimed to verify the hypothesis indicating that CD4 T pyroptosis induced by lipopolysaccharide (LPS) leads to an impaired gut IgA response and subsequent bacterial translocation and organ damage.

Progestin therapy is the main fertility-sparing treatment for women with endometrial cancer (EC) and atypical endometrial hyperplasia (AEH). However, still 15-25% of these women failed to achieve complete response (CR) and then lost their fertility after definitive surgery. Metformin has been demonstrated to play an anti-cancer role in multiple cancers including EC.

The aim of this study was to establish predictive models based on the molecular profiles of endometrial lesions, which might help identify progestin-insensitive endometrial atypical hyperplasia (EAH) or endometrioid endometrial cancer (EEC) patients before progestin-based fertility-preserving treatment initiation. Endometrial lesions from progestin-sensitive (PS, = 7) and progestin-insensitive (PIS, = 7) patients were prospectively collected before progestin treatment and then analyzed by ATAC-Seq and RNA-Seq. Potential chromatin accessibility and expression profiles were compared between the PS and PIS groups.

Multiple cortical areas including the primary somatosensory cortex (S1) are activated during itch signal processing, yet cortical representation of itch perception remains unknown. Using novel miniature two-photon microscopic imaging in free-moving mice, we investigated the coding of itch perception in S1. We found that pharmacological inactivation of S1 abolished itch-induced scratching behavior, and the itch-induced scratching behavior could be well predicted by the activity of a fraction of layer 2/3 pyramidal neurons, suggesting that a subpopulation of S1 pyramidal neurons encoded itch perception, as indicated by immediate subsequent scratching behaviors.

The primary somatosensory cortex (S1) plays a critical role in processing multiple somatosensations, but the mechanism underlying the representation of different submodalities of somatosensation in S1 remains unclear. Using two-photon calcium imaging that simultaneously monitors hundreds of layer 2/3 pyramidal S1 neurons of awake male mice, we examined neuronal responses triggered by mechanical, thermal, or pruritic stimuli. We found that mechanical, thermal, and pruritic stimuli activated largely overlapping neuronal populations in the same somatotopic S1 subregion.
