Introduction: Due to the lack of clear direction (evidence) on the duration of viral shedding and thus potential for transmission, this retrospective study aimed to come up with a prediction model of prolonged coronavirus disease-19 (COVID-19) transmission or infection-spreading potential.

We examined root fractal parameters, root length, root quantity, root mass, root-shoot ratio of 3-year-old seabuckthorn in the Pisha sandstone area of Inner Mongolia, using the fractal theory and statistical method. The results showed that soil moisture had the most significant effect on the root architecture, followed by slope. Slope position had the least effect on the root architecture.
