As an emerging ionic sensor with low-voltage operation (<1 V), biocompatibility, and stable operation in aqueous environments, organic electrochemical transistors (OECTs) have attracted significant research interest for various biofluid-related ion detection, where minor ion concentration variations can effectively reflect health or pathology states. However, OECT-based ion sensors are currently limited by restricted device transconductance g and stabilites, which severely hinder their applications in actual ion sensing scenarios. Here, ultra-sensitive multi-ion sensors based on high-performance n-type vertical OECTs (accumulation mode, g = 58 mS) for Na, K, and Ca detection in a practical biofluid (effluent from continuous renal replacement therapy), are demonstrated with high accuracy and stability, which are comparable to conventional Roche method.

Methods: Using microinjection mRNA and genome engineering to reintroduce the conserved pathogenic missense variants into oocytes or in generating TUBB8 variant knock-in mouse models, we investigated that the human deleterious variants alter microtubule nucleation and spindle assembly during meiosis.

In this study, the collecting performance of four collectors, O-isopropyl-N-ethyl thionocarbamate ester (IPETC), 3-pentyl xanthate acrylate ester (PXA), O-isobutyl-N-allyl-thionocarbamate (IBALTC), and O-isobutyl-N-isobutoxycarbonyl-thionocarbamate (IBIBCTC), was investigated through microflotation tests, microcalorimetric measurements, and quantum chemical calculations. The results of the microflotation tests show that IBALTC and IPETC have stronger collecting abilities than IBIBCTC and PXA; the order of collecting ability is IBALTC > IPETC > IBIBCTC > PXA.

The purpose of this study was to determine the significance of the APPLE score in conjunction with the monocyte-high-density lipoprotein cholesterol ratio (MHR) in predicting the late recurrence of AF after catheter ablation in patients with AF.
Methods: Baseline data were collected to explore the predictors of late recurrence after AF catheter ablation.
