Polymer-based thermally conductive composites are widely used in microelectronics for heat dissipation and packaging, for which the filler arrangement and the filler/matrix interfacial thermal resistance (ITR) are key factors limiting superior thermal conduction realization. This work reveals the effects of filler modification and orientation on thermal duction in the boron nitride (BN)/hydroxyethyl cellulose (HEC) through multiscale simulation approaches. Nonequilibrium molecular dynamics (NEMD) identifies that the thermal conductivity of the BN molecule is not size-dependent and proves that thermal resistance is dramatically reduced after hydroxylation modification (BN).

During embryonic development, glandular epithelia arise from multipotent stem cells (SCs) that are replaced after birth by unipotent basal and unipotent luminal SCs. Different conditions, such as basal cell transplantation, luminal cell ablation, and oncogene expression can reinduce adult basal SC (BaSCs) multipotency in different glandular epithelia.

Traditional experimental approaches for investigating circRNA-miRNA interactions (CMI) are both time-consuming and costly, making computational methods a valuable alternative. Hence, we propose a computational model for predicting CMI, leveraging a ybrid multmodal nework and igher-order nighborhood infomation (Hither-CMI).

Still, the influence of fermentation processes on glutinous rice wine is unclear. This study aimed to compare the difference between the two fermentation methods in the quality and bacterial composition of Dazhu glutinous rice wine.

The utility of safflower depends on its flavonoid glycosides. Therefore, the biosynthesis of safflower flavonoid glycosides has been a focus of attention, but the present mechanisms remain poorly understood.

In this study, spatial transcriptomics was used to investigate changes in the hippocampal region of rats descended from maternal exposure to polystyrene nanoplastics (PS-NPs), and the transcriptomes of each spot were sequenced, allowing us to visualize the hippocampus's transcriptional landscape as well as clarify the gene expression profiles of each cell type. Spatial transcriptomics was used to explore changes in the hippocampus region of rats exposed to PS-NPs during brain formation and maturation.

Nevertheless, manual segmentation is labor-intensive and prone to inconsistencies, highlighting the need for automatic segmentation methods. A significant challenge in this field is the lack of publicly available clinical datasets for research.

Immunotherapy has emerged as a pioneering therapeutic modality, particularly within the realm of oncology, where Chimeric Antigen Receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy has manifested significant efficacy in the treatment of hematological malignancies. Nonetheless, the extension of immunotherapy to solid tumors poses a considerable challenge. This challenge is largely attributed to the intrinsic "cold" characteristics of certain tumors, which are defined by scant T-cell infiltration and a diminished immune response.

Methods: 11,479 Chinese adults from China Family Panel Studies were enrolled and randomly split into two halves. The exploratory half was used to reidentify the structures of the CES-D 8 by bootstrap exploratory graph analysis (bootEGA) and the confirmatory half was used to compare and choose the structure by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA).
Diabetic foot ulcers (DFUs), a prevalent chronic disease caused by various factors, significantly impact patients' quality of life due to prolonged healing times and increased infection risks. Current treatment modalities, including pharmacological, physical, and surgical interventions, often yield limited efficacy and adverse effects, highlighting the urgent need for novel therapeutic strategies. The objective of this research is to create SIKVAV-modified chitosan hydrogels with the intention of improving the process of skin wound healing in diabetic mice.

Despite its promise, the clinical applicability of the combination of CPT and PPT faces challenges, including potential side effect and limited therapeutic efficacy. In this study, we designed co-assembly nanomedicines with the different weight (w/w) ratios of amphiphilic Evans blue conjugated CPT prodrug (EB-ss-CPT) and PPT molecules, denoted as ECT Nano.

While the therapy's potential in precise targeting is well-recognized, a critical bottleneck remains in the accurate positioning of patients for treatment delivery. This study proposes a novel automated robotic-assisted patient positioning system specifically engineered for BNCT applications.

This study aims to investigate the potential therapeutic targets and mechanisms of HGWD for treating DPN using network pharmacology and molecular docking methodologies. The intersection targets of DPN and HGWD were retrieved from the databases, with the resulting intersection targets being imported into the STRING database to construct the protein-protein interaction (PPI) network.

Methods: Thirty-five women diagnosed with GDM were recruited, and fasting plasma samples were collected at ~6 weeks postpartum. Maternal metabolic parameters were determined, and an untargeted lipidomic analysis was performed.
C-P bond formation has typically been achieved by a single-electron transfer process. Herein, a novel class of oxime ester bifunctionalization reagents were first applied to the photocatalytic β-aminophosphorylation of modular olefins. The bifunctional reagents generate two distinct radical species (imine and phosphoryl radicals) that exhibit excellent regioselectivity.

While most disease-causal mutations of APP occur within the Aβ-coding region or immediately proximal, the pathological impacts of mutations in the N-terminus of APP protein, which remote from the Aβ sequence, on neuron and synapse are still largely unknown. It was recently reported a pathogenic APP N-terminal Val225Ala mutation (APP) with clinically featuring progressive dementia and typical AD pathologies in brain.
