Coal seam water injection is widely applied to prevent mine disasters. In the traditional water migration model of water-injected coal, from ignoring capillary force in the seepage stage to generating the capillary dynamic during the spontaneous imbibition state, no transition state exists from 0 to generating capillary force. In this paper, on the basis of theoretical analysis, an equivalent capillary term is introduced to modify the Forchheimer model, and then a seepage-transition-spontaneous imbibition model that is suitable for water migration of water-injected coal is proposed.

Covalent organic frameworks (COFs) are typically synthesized using solvothermal conditions with high temperature and long reaction time (≥120 °C, >72 h). Herein, we report a general and rapid microplasma electrochemistry strategy to synthesize COFs under ambient conditions. A series of flexible imine-bond COFs with high-crystallinity were prepared in minutes via this method, which showed 1000-fold higher space-time yield than solvothermal method.

Feeding rhythms regulate exercise performance and muscle energy metabolism. However, the mechanisms regulating adipocyte functions remain unclear. Here, using multi-omics analyses, involving (phospho-)proteomics and lipidomics, we found that day-restricted feeding (DRF) regulates diurnal rhythms of the mitochondrial proteome, neutral lipidome, and nutrient-sensing pathways in mouse gonadal white adipose tissue (GWAT).

Deep learning for Electroencephalography (EEG) has become dominant in the tasks of discrimination and evaluation of brain disorders. However, despite its significant successes, this approach has long been facing challenges due to the limited availability of labeled samples and the individuality of subjects, particularly in complex scenarios such as Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). To facilitate the efficient optimization of EEG discrimination models in the face of these limitations, this study has developed a framework called STEM (Self-Training EEG Model).

Oleate hydratases (Ohys) catalyze the conversion of oleic acid (OA) to 10-()-hydroxystearic acid (10-HSA), a compound widely used in the chemical industry. However, the limited activity of Ohys has hindered their broader applications. To address this limitation, we propose a novel strategy for mining highly active Ohys through structure clustering, sequence clustering, and ancestral sequence reconstruction (SSA strategy).
