Effects of Electronic Health Record Implementation and Barriers to Adoption and Use: A Scoping Review and Qualitative Analysis of the Content.

Despite the great advances in the field of electronic health records (EHRs) over the past 25 years, implementation and adoption challenges persist, and the benefits realized remain below expectations. This scoping review aimed to present current knowledge about the effects of EHR implementation and the barriers to EHR adoption and use. A literature search was conducted in PubMed, Web of Science, IEEE Xplore Digital Library and ACM Digital Library for studies published between January 2005 and May 2020.

Clinical significance of buccal branches of the facial nerve and their relationship with the emergence of Stensen's duct: An anatomical study on adult Taiwanese cadavers.

Objective: This observational study on adult Taiwanese cadavers focused mainly on the intersection of buccal branches of the facial nerve with Stensen's duct, using the emergence of Stensen's duct as the reference landmark.

Materials And Methods: Thirty-five cadaveric hemifaces were included in our research. Samples with facial defects due to tumor, trauma, or surgery were all excluded.

Towards a Framework for National eHealth Evaluation and Monitoring: A Combined Top-Down and Bottom-Up Approach Using Sweden as Example.

Conducting evaluation and monitoring of national eHealth implementation aligned with national eHealth strategies should be prioritized concerning the insufficient scientific evidence and the current challenges in measuring eHealth effects and impacts where most approaches aim to measure at the micro level. This study aimed to build an evaluation and monitoring framework for national eHealth, using the Swedish national eHealth strategy as example, and to develop the process in doing so. Combining both top-down and bottom-up approaches, the WHO-ITU national eHealth strategy toolkit, as a systematic guidance, and two Swedish reports were used for development of the framework.

[Applying the Modified Delphi Technique to Develop the Role of HIV Case Managers and Essential Nursing Competencies in HIV Care].

Background: Since 2005, the Taiwan Centers for Disease Control (Taiwan CDC) initiated an HIV case management program in AIDS-designated hospitals to provide integrative services and risk-reduction counseling for HIV-infected individuals. In light of the increasingly complex and highly specialized nature of clinical care, expanding and improving competency-based professional education is important to enhance the quality of HIV/AIDS care.

Purpose: The aim of this study was to develop the essential competency framework for HIV care for HIV case managers in Taiwan.
