View Article and Find Full Text PDFDespite the unique advantage of the isothermal exponential amplification reaction (EXPAR) for the rapid detection of short nucleic acids, it severely suffers from the drawback of sequence-dependent amplification bias, mainly arising from the secondary structures of the EXPAR template under the commonly used reaction temperature (55 °C). As such, the limits of detection (LOD) for different target sequences may vary considerably from aM to nM. Here we report a sequence-generic exponential amplification reaction (SG-EXPAR) that eliminates sequence-dependent amplification bias and achieves similar amplification performance for different targets with generally sub-fM LODs.

A complex-valued neural process method, combined with modal depth functions (MDFs) of the ocean waveguide, is proposed to reconstruct the acoustic field. Neural networks are used to describe complex Gaussian processes, modeling the distribution of the acoustic field at different depths. The network parameters are optimized through a meta-learning strategy, preventing overfitting under small sample conditions (sample size equals the number of array elements) and mitigating the slow reconstruction speed of Gaussian processes (GPs), while denoising and interpolating sparsely distributed acoustic field data, generating dense field data for virtual receiver arrays.

However, it is challenging to accommodate both the high-density solid-state proof mass and the highly elastic component simultaneously in a miniature sensor, which makes it difficult for the sensors to maintain comparable sensing performance at a miniaturized size. Aim: To investigate the current status, trends, projections, and underlying risk factors of HBP cancers among young populations in China.
Tc is regarded as the most important medical isotope, and its supply issues have garnered significant attention. A simple and efficient separation method was performed for the production of Tc from Mo target in this study. Methods: In vivo, a PSD rat model was created by combining bilateral common carotid artery occlusion and chronic unpredictable mild stress stimulations. After 4-week modeling and intragastrically administration of curculigoside, the effects of curculigoside on behavior, hippocampal neurogenesis, and hippocampal mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation (OxPhos) were investigated.
Purpose: This systematic review and meta-analysis aimed to evaluate the safety of outpatient and inpatient Unicompartmental Knee Arthroplasty (UKA) based on the incidence of adverse events.

Autoimmune hepatitis (AIH) is a chronic inflammatory disease of the liver that is mediated by autoimmunity and has complex pathogenesis. Its prevalence has increased globally.
