Study Objective: To describe how the knowledge from standard imaging practices can be translated into 3-dimensional visualization techniques and used in the surgical planning and management of endometriosis.
Design: Two case studies of patients with endometriosis are described.
Setting: Tertiary care academic center.
Objective: The primary objective of this clinical practice guideline is to provide gynaecologists with an algorithm and evidence to guide the diagnosis and management of endometrial polyps.
Target Population: All patients with symptomatic or asymptomatic endometrial polyps.
Options: Options for management of endometrial polyps include expectant, medical, and surgical management.
Unlabelled: Endometriosis is a chronic, multisystemic disease often presenting with significant phenotypic variation amongst patients. The impact of race/ethnicity on the prevalence of endometriosis, as well as disease presentation, is a question of interest which has been explored for the last century. This narrative review explores the historical perspective of endometriosis and race/ethnicity as well as the evidence available to date.

Numerous formulas for EFW have been published but have not been validated in pregnancies complicated by preterm premature rupture of membranes (PPROM). The purpose of this study is to compare the accuracy of EFW formulas in patients with PPROM, and to further evaluate the performance of the most commonly used formula - Hadlock IV.

There are a number of different anticoagulation options for pregnant women with mechanical heart valves. The purpose of this study was to examine maternal thromboembolic complications in women with mechanical valves treated with low-molecular weight heparin (LMWH) throughout pregnancy. This was a substudy of a larger prospective cohort study of pregnant women with heart disease followed from 1998 to 2008.
