Molecular Response Assessment with Immune Adaptive PERCIST in Lung Cancer Patients Treated with Nivolumab: Is It Better Than iRECIST?

 We compared the immune response evaluation criteria in solid tumors (iRECIST) with immune adaptive positron emission tomography response criteria in solid tumors (imPERCIST) in lung cancer patients treated with nivolumab.  Twenty lung cancer patients underwent fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography/computed tomography (FDG PET/CT) scan at baseline (PET-0), after four cycles (PET-1) and six to eight cycles (PET-2) of nivolumab were included. Kappa coefficient ( ) was derived to see the level of agreement in two response criteria.

Ki-67 labeling index as a predictor of response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy in breast cancer.

Aims: To investigate Ki-67 index with regard to its ability to predict achievement of pathologic complete response (pCR) to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NACT) in breast cancer patient.

Material And Methods: It was a prospective observational study, conducted in Department of Medical Oncology, Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute & Research Center (RGCIRC), New Delhi from February 2014 to March 2016. A total of 134 patients with Stage II/III breast cancer who underwent NACT followed by surgery at our center were enrolled and analyzed.

Profile of infections in renal transplant recipients from India.

Background: Infectious disorders are a major cause of concern in renal transplant recipients (RTRs) leading to considerable morbidity and mortality. We studied the profile and outcomes of infectious disorders in a cohort of RTR.

Materials And Methods: In this prospective, observational study, we evaluated all RTR who presented with the features of infection.
