We compared the efficacy of 4 mg drospirenone (DRSP) progestin-only pills (POPs) versus combined oral contraceptive pills (COCs) containing 0.02 mg of ethinyl estradiol (EE) and 0.075 mg of gestodene (GS) in ovulation inhibition and inducing unfavorable cervical mucus changes using a delayed-starting approach.

Background: Female sexual dysfunction (FSD) is prevalent in women with genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM). Vaginal estrogen is effective GSM treatment. Material And Method: A retrospective study was conducted among pregnant women after in vitro fertilization and embryo transfer (IVF-ET) in an assisted conception unit of a university hospital between 1994 and 2013. The factors evaluated included the use of donor oocyte, use of intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), stage of embryo, number of embryos transferred, and fresh or frozen-thawed cycle.
