Article Synopsis
  • The study investigates the relationship between elevated or fluctuating intraoperative systolic blood pressure (SBP) and the occurrence of postoperative hematoma in facelift surgeries.
  • Using data from 118 facelift procedures, the authors performed various statistical analyses to identify predictors of hematoma.
  • The findings reveal that while history of hypertension did not significantly predict hematoma, labile intraoperative SBP and high immediate postoperative SBP were significant predictors for developing hematomas post-surgery.
