Haglund's deformity refers to the enlargement of the posterosuperior tuberosity of the calcaneus, which can cause debilitating posterior heel pain and swelling. Calcaneoplasty is indicated for the treatment of Haglund's deformity following a failure of conservative treatment. Endoscopic calcaneoplasty confers a few advantages over open surgery and has been growing in popularity as the preferred technique.
