Facial Hyperpigmentation Following Adalimumab.

Background: Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-α) inhibitors, such as adalimumab, have significantly advanced the treatment of inflammatory diseases. However, these therapies are associated with various cutaneous adverse reactions.

Case Presentation: We describe two rare instances of isolated facial hyperpigmentation induced by adalimumab.

Myocarditis following Coronavirus vaccination.

Introduction: Myocarditis is an adverse reaction discovered after the marketing of SARS-CoV-2 mRNA vaccines. Nevertheless, this effect is not mentioned as an adverse reaction in the summary of product characteristics of other types of vaccines against this disease.

Objective: In this work, we aim to present the cases of myocarditis after vaccination against COVID-19 reported to the national Tunisian centre of pharmacovigilance.

Background: Statins are widely used in the treatment of hyperlipidemia and in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. However, they may induce muscular adverse effects that range from asymptomatic elevation of creatine kinase to life threatening rhabdomyolysis.

Introduction: Pantoprazole is a proton pump inhibitor mainly used to treat conditions causing excess stomach acid. Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) is a rare bullous disease. The main etiologic factors are drugs, especially antibiotics, anticonvulsants, oxicam and allopurinol.

Hand-foot syndrome induced by chemotherapy drug: Case series study and literature review.

Introduction: Chemotherapy drugs can be responsible of several side effects such as hand-foot syndrome (HFS). This syndrome is also called "palmar-plantar erythrodysesthesia" and "acral erythema." Without proper management, it can deteriorate the quality of life of a patient, leading to temporary or definitive stop of chemotherapy.

Docetaxel-induced Flagellate Erythema - Case Report and Brief Review.

Introduction: Flagellate erythema is a distinctive morphologic reaction pattern recognized by whiplash-like pruritic erythematous eruption. It is usually encountered in patients receiving bleomycin. Only one case of docetaxel-induced flagellate erythema is reported in the literature.

Introduction/background: Drug reaction with eosinophilia and systemic symptoms reaction (DRESS) syndrome is a serious, potentially life-threatening drug side effect associated with more and more drugs. However, antipsychotics have rarely been involved in such condition.

Case Report: We report here a suspected case of chlorpromazine induced DRESS syndrome in a 33-year-old woman with a history of allergic rhinitis and bipolar disorder who has reported an unexplored generalized skin eruption after taking chlorpromazine 10 years before.

Azathioprine and Acenocoumarol Drug Interaction in Patients with Crohn's Disease: A Case Report.

Background: Acenocoumarol is an anticoagulant with numerous drug reactions. We report here, an unusual interaction between acenocoumarol and azathioprine.

Case Presentation: A 35-year-old woman, treated with acenocoumarol for thrombosis of the superior mesenteric vein, was prescribed azathioprine for Crohn's disease.

Skin Tests for the Exploration of Hypersensitivity Reactions Associated with Iodinated Contrast Media.

Background: Iodinated contrast media (ICM) are responsible for multiple side effects, especially hypersensitivity reactions. These reactions can either be authentic allergies or non-allergic hypersensitivity reactions. Skin tests (prick and intradermal tests) are simple to perform and can be of great help, especially if the ICM needs to be re-used.
