Histoplasmosis is a fungal infection most frequently seen in immunocompromised patients. It is endemic in Central and South America and in Africa. The infection is usually asymptomatic in a healthy individual.

Material And Method: Six patients underwent LVD and six underwent PVE alone before hepatectomy for a Klatskin tumor. Before embolization, the FRL ratio, prothrombin time and bilirubin levels were similar in both groups.
One of the late-onset complications of cardiac implanted electronic devices (CIEDs) is central venous obstruction (CVO). The aim of this study was to investigate the feasibility, efficacy, and safety of endovascular treatment of CIED-related CVOs. Eighteen patients who underwent endovascular management of their device-related CVO were reviewed.

Material And Methods: We retrospectively reviewed 19 patients (age 65 ± 12 years), 11 men and eight women, who underwent PEB for IVLs, between March 2004 and November 2014. All PEBs were performed for early diagnosis and/or characterization of the IVL, or in case of reasonable doubt about the IVL nature.
Implanted venous access device (IVAD) late dysfunction is commonly caused by fibrin sheath formation. The standard method of endovascular fibrin sheath removal is performed the femoral vein. However, it is not always technically feasible and sometimes contraindicated.

Materials And Methods: From May 2006 to January 2014, twenty-seven patients with SIMH had been referred for TAE to our Radiology department. Clinical status and coagulation characteristics of the patients are analyzed.
Objective: Peripherally inserted central catheter (PICC) use continues to increase, leading to the development of a blind bedside technique (BST) for placement. The aim of our study was to compare the BST with the fluoroscopically guided technique (FGT), with specific regard to catheter tip position (CTP).
Materials And Methods: One hundred eighty patients were randomized to either the BST or the FGT.
With the increased use of implanted venous access devices (IVADs) for continuous long-term venous access, several techniques such as percutaneous endovascular fibrin sheath removal, have been described, to maintain catheter function. Most standard techniques do not capture the stripped fibrin sheath, which is subsequently released in the pulmonary circulation and may lead to symptomatic pulmonary embolism. The presented case describes an endovascular technique which includes stripping, capture, and removal of fibrin sheath using a novel filter device.

The intra-axial or extra-axial location and the differentiation between primary or secondary origin were not evident so MRI was performed.
