Background: Patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) are essential for assessing the health of patients with chronic venous disease (CVD). Therefore, we aimed to translate the Aberdeen Varicose Vein Questionnaire into Thai language (AVVQ-Thai) and evaluate its reliability and validity. Objective: Femoral tunneled cuffed catheters (TCCs) can provide long-term hemodialysis access for patients with exhausted upper extremity access sites due to thoracic central venous occlusion. However, the use of femoral vein catheters (FVCs) has reportedly been associated with the risk of infection, malfunction, and discomfort. An inside-out technique will facilitate chest TCC placement by intentional retrograde extravascularization of the proximal occluded venous stump into the mediastinum.
