Rhabdomyosarcoma, a common soft tissue malignant tumor in children and adolescents, is exceedingly rare in adults. Nevertheless, The outcome in adults is very poor, especially when compared to outcomes in children in whom significant improvements in treatment has been achieved. The first case was of a 24-year-old pregnant Chinese woman with a rare primary site of rhabdomyosarcoma in the perineal body.

Surgical resection is crucial to deal with chemoresistance and recurrence following chemotherapy. The aim of this study was to explore if high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) can be used as a complementary technique to surgical procedures in the management of GTN.

Methods: We used laboratory-based data from the Third Affiliated Hospital of Zunyi Medical College, Zunyi, China to assess the epidemiology of the HFMD caused by enteroviruses between January 2012 and November 2014. Real-time polymerase chain reaction was used to determine human enteroviruses from a total of 12313 probable cases enrolled in this retrospective study.
The purpose of this work was to preliminarily investigate the efficacy and safety of high-intensity focused ultrasound treatment of hepatocellular carcinoma and hypersplenism. Nine patients with hepatocellular carcinoma complicated by hypersplenism (5 male and 4 female; median age, 56 years; range, 51-66 years) were treated with ultrasound-guided high-intensity focused ultrasound. Complications were recorded.

Objective: To evaluate the transdermal permeability of glucosamine sulfate solution across ex vivo rabbit dermis under ultrasound and optimize the ultrasound conditions.
Methods: The ultrasound-assisted transdermal permeation of glucosamine sulfate solution across ex vivo rabbit dermis was tested using a simple Franz diffuse. The transdermal permeation volume and rate were calculated by measuring the concentration of glucosamine sulfate in the receptor fluid with ultraviolet spectrophotometry, and the impact of different sound intensities, irradiation time and solution concentration on solution permeation was analyzed.

Objective: To study the value of dynamic contrast-enhanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in evaluating the curative effect of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) for hypersplenism.
Methods: A retrospective analysis of dynamic contrast enhanced MRI data was conducted in 15 patients with hypersplenism before and after HIFU treatment to observe the signal changes and enhancement features of the lesions.
Results: Compared with that before treatment, the signal intensity of the lesions after HIFU could be increased, reduced or remained unchanged on T(1)WI without specificity; on T(2)WI, the signal intensity of the lesions was reduced after HIFU treatment.
