The method using ethanol to evaluate the cellulose insulation aging condition of oil-immersed transformers has been proposed. At present, the dominating method for detecting ethanol in insulating oil is to use headspace-gas-chromatography-mass-spectrometry (HS-GC-MS). However, the problem of quantitative inaccuracy will be sometimes encountered in the actual detection process due to improper instrument parameter setting and improper manual operation.

In this study, according to the actual laying conditions of the submarine cable, a multi-physical coupling model of submarine cable is established based on the electromagnetic field, heat transfer field, and fluid field by using the COMSOL finite element simulation software. This model can help to analyze how the temperature and ampacity of the submarine cable are affected by different laying methods, seawater velocity, seawater temperature, laying depth, and soil thermal conductivity.

However, the and master curve reported by previous works are distinctive due to the difference in the construction algorithm. Therefore, it is of great significance to report a universal approach for extracting .

Usually, TDoA extraction algorithms can be categorized as cross-correlation function method (CCF), minimum energy method (ME), and threshold value method (TV) are not qualified to analyze the time difference with high accuracy and efficiency, especially the complicated UHF PD signals in the field. In this paper, multiple tests were carried out based on the real GIS UHF signals.

The only form of filter in actual use involves RLC networks, which serve the purpose of reducing the level of conducted electromagnetic interference returning to the power processing unit, which is the function of a filter. Recently, the role of the filter in the oscillation control was introduced.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFOctafluorocyclobutane, -CF, and its derivatives are regarded as promising replacements of insulation gaseous SF, which are currently widely used in electric equipment but suffer greatly from its greenhouse effect. Based on the recent finding that the dielectric and thermodynamics properties of insulating gases are greatly dependent on the molecule's microscopic electronic and vibrational parameters, in this work, we use density functional theory (DFT) to study the molecular structures, electron affinities, and IR-active vibrational frequencies as well as thermodynamic properties for -CF and a series of mono-, di-substituted -CF compounds. It is shown that DFT calculation of perfluoro-compounds is sensitive to the chosen functional.
