Rationale And Objectives: To establish a multimodal deep learning nomogram for predicting clinically significant prostate cancer in patients with gray-zone PSA levels.
Methods: This retrospective study enrolled 303 patients with pathological results between January 2018 and December 2022. Clinical variables and the PI-RADS v2.
Background: To evaluate accuracy of MRI-based radiomics in diagnosing prostate cancer (PCa) in patients with PSA levels between 4 and 10 ng/mL and compare it with the latest Prostate Imaging Reporting and Data System (PI-RADS v2.1) score.
Methods: 221 patients with prostate lesions and PSA levels in 4-10 ng/mL, including 154 and 67 cases in the training and validation groups.
Purpose: The O-RADS MRI score stratifies adnexal mass risk with characteristics of T1-weighted, T2-weighed and dynamic contrast-enhanced (DCE) images. We explored a modified approach to evaluate the value of incorporation DWI/ADC with non-DCE-MRI in ORADS scoring system, and to assess the diagnostic performance and interreader consistency in differentiating ovarian neoplasm with different types.
Methods: This retrospective study included 218 women who underwent pelvic MRI with 221 ovarian tumors between January 2017 and December 2021.
To reveal the formation process of speech processing with early hearing experiences, we tracked the development of functional connectivity in the auditory and language-related cortical areas of 84 (36 female) congenitally deafened toddlers using repeated functional near-infrared spectroscopy for up to 36 months post cochlear implantation (CI). Upon hearing restoration, the CI children lacked the modular organization of the mature speech-processing network and demonstrated a higher degree of immaturity in temporo-parietal than temporo-frontal connections. The speech-processing network appeared to form rapidly with early CI experiences, with two-thirds of the developing connections following nonlinear trajectories reflecting possibly more than one synaptogenesis-pruning cycle.

Introduction: The vestibular system is anatomically connected to extensive regions of the cerebral cortex, hippocampus, and amygdala. However, studies focusing on the impact of vestibular impairment on visuospatial cognition ability are limited. This study aimed to develop a mobile tablet-based vestibular cognitive assessment system (VCAS), enhance the dynamic and three-dimensional (3D) nature of the test conditions, and comprehensively evaluate the visuospatial cognitive ability of patients with vestibular dysfunction.

Erythropoietin producing hepatocyte receptor A2 () is widely presented in the tumor cells, closely related to tumor cell migration, not cell apoptosis and proliferation. Based on its high expression in castration-resistant prostate cancer (CRPC), we herein develop a CRISPR-Cas9-based genome-editing nanomedicine to target erythropoietin producing hepatocyte receptor A2 for the treatment of castration-resistant prostate cancer. To this end, TAT was designed to stabilize the distribution of calcium, and then bound to ribonucleoprotein (RNP) to form nanoparticles RNP@CaP-TAT.

Precise spatiotemporal control of subcellular ATO delivery for potent arsenotherapy thus remains challengeable. Herein, we report the self-activated arsenic manganite nanohybrids for high-contrast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and arsenotherapeutic synergy on triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC).

The preoperative audiological characteristics, EABR characteristics and follow-up neural response telemetry results of the two groups were retrospectively analysed, and the preoperative EABR threshold and initiation C value were subjected to linear regression and correlation analysis.
Unilateral aural stimulation has been shown to cause massive cortical reorganization in brain with congenital deafness, particularly during the sensitive period of brain development. However, it is unclear which side of stimulation provides most advantages for auditory development. The left hemisphere dominance of speech and linguistic processing in normal hearing adult brain has led to the assumption of functional and developmental advantages of right over left implantation, but existing evidence is controversial.
