In this study, we developed calcium alginate-coated nanovesicles derived from macrophage membranes loaded with berberine (Ber@MVs-CA) for the oral treatment of ulcerative colitis (UC). Ber@MVs-CA demonstrates resistance to gastric acid and controlled drug release in the colonic pH environment, while actively targeting sites of ulcerative colitis injury. pH-responsive release of Ber in Ber@MVs-CA was confirmed through in vitro release experiments.

Herein, SUMO-LUMO inversion (SLI) radicals - were designed by the combination of the tris(2,4,6-trichlorophenyl)methyl (TTM) radical and pyridinium derivatives (electron-withdrawing groups) for the first time. The energy of the LUMO lies below that of the SUMO, which deviated from the Aufbau principle as an alternative electronic configuration beyond the well-established SOMO-HOMO inversed system. Thus, for SLI radicals, the injection of one extra electron preferred to occupy the LUMO rather than the SUMO, giving diradicals, one of which had been fully confirmed by single crystal analysis, VT-NMR and VT-EPR experiments, as well as DFT calculations.

The aim of this study was to evaluate the biomechanical and osseointegrative properties of 3D printed porous PEEK materials loaded with strontium (Sr) and alendronate (ALN), which prepared porous cylindrical material by a fused deposition molding process, coated with Sr and ALN by hydrothermal reaction and dopamine assistance. According to the different coating materials, it could be divided into the PEEK group, PEEK-ALN group, PEEK-Sr group and PEEK-ALN-Sr group. Liver fibrosis is a pathological change characterized by excessive deposition of extracellular matrix caused by chronic liver injury, and the mechanisms underlying its development are associated with endothelial cell injury, inflammatory immune cell activation, and HSC activation. The electrosynthesis of multi-carbon (C) alcohols, specifically ethanol and n-propanol through CO electroreduction (CORR) in HO, presents a sustainable pathway for intermittent renewable energy storage and a low-carbon economy. However, achieving high selectivity for alcohol production at industrial current densities is kinetically hampered by side reactions such as ethylene generation and hydrogen evolution reaction, which result from competing adsorption of *CO and *H. In this study, we developed a Cu/Zn alloy catalyst to simultaneously enhance the activity and selectivity for alcohol production by increasing CO capture capacity and enriching active hydrogen on Cu sites.
