The abnormal expression of PHAX was observed in esophageal cancer, however, its specific function and mechanism remain to be further elucidated. We demonstrated that PHAX, LIN28B, and PBX3 were upregulated in esophageal cancer, while TET2 was downregulated. Elevated PHAX correlated with adverse outcomes among esophageal cancer patients.

This study attempted to explore the mechanism of "lncRNA NR2F1-AS1/miR-483-3p/IGF1″ axis in azacitidine resistance of THP-1 cells.
Methods: THP-1 cells were treated with azacitidine to construct THP1-Aza cells.
The aim of this study was to investigate the functions and molecular mechanism of miR-196a in esophageal cancer (EC). miR-196a as well as UHRF2 and TET2 mRNA and protein levels in EC tissues and cells were detected using quantitative real-time PCR or western blot, respectively. Cell proliferation was evaluated via MTT assay.

The present study aimed to investigate the biological role and molecular mechanism of miR-196a in ESCC. The expression levels of miR-196a in 25 tumor tissues and adjacent non-tumor tissues from patients with ESCC were measured by reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction.

Myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS), an acquired clonal hematologic disorder, is characterized by peripheral blood cytopenia, dysplastic changes in several types of hematopoietic cells of the bone marrow and peripheral blood, and a high risk of transformation to acute leukemia. CD rarely occurs in combination with MDS, and MDS treatment with hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) has not been frequently reported.
