Purpose: To study the expression of long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) CDKN2B-AS1 in the liver tissue of patients with liver cancer and its effect on the proliferation of liver cancer cell line QGY-7703.
Methods: The expression of differentially expressed genes in liver cancer tissues and normal liver tissues was analyzed by bioinformatics. The expressions of differentially expressed genes in clinical samples were analyzed by quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) to analyze whether there is a significant difference of CDKN2B-AS1 expression in clinical features of patients with liver cancer.
Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 2 (CCL2) has been shown to play an important role in the regulation of tumor cell growth, metastasis and host immune response. CCL2 preferentially binds to the C-C chemokine receptor type 2 (CCR2), which is expressed in various tissues. However, the role of the CCL2/CCR2 axis in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) invasion and its molecular mechanisms remain unclear.

Methods: An immunohistochemistry assay was used to test the expression levels of galectin-3 in cancer tissues of 61 colorectal cancer cases and in normal intestinal tissues adjacent to the cancer tissues of 23 cases. The associations between protein expression levels of galectin-3 and the clinicopathological features, such as age, sex, pathology type, lymphatic metastasis, and prognosis were also analyzed.
MicroRNAs (miRNAs) are short, non-coding RNA molecules that act as regulators of gene expression. Circulating blood miRNAs have potential as cancer biomarkers. The main objective of the present study was to assess the effect of miRNA-23b (miR-23b) expression in plasma on the diagnosis and prognosis of colorectal cancer (CRC).

Downregulation of LRIG1 was found in many types of cancer. However, data concerning the possible mechanism of LRIG1 reduction in cancers were not reported yet. To analyze the regulation and function of LRIG1 in colorectal cancer (CRC), 6 cell lines, 46 paired tissues from primary CRC cases were employed in this study.

Objective: To evaluate different methods to explose recurrent laryngeal nerve (RLN) based on the location of thyroid diseses and anatomic path of the RLN, to avoid the RLN damage in thyroid surgery.
Methods: A total of 755 cases underwent total lobectomy was studied retrospectively. RLN was explosed in each case.
