To evaluate the development of children's writing ability, it is necessary not only to examine quantitative indices such as the dependency distance, but also to inquiry the types of structures they use. We conducted clause boundary labeling using Support Vector Machine (SVM) on a corpus of Japanese students' compositions to investigate the change in the tendency of clause use with the progression of school age. The analysis of clause label frequency per sentence exhibited an increase in attributive clauses, nominal clauses, quotation clauses, and continuous clauses, and a decrease in parallel clauses, conditional clauses, reason clauses, time clauses, indirect interrogative clauses, and main clauses.

Two- and three-dimensional complex nanostructures, such as "nanomesh," "double-layered nanomeshes," and "surface parallel cylinders on nanomesh," can be fabricated using the self-assembly of perforated lamellar morphology in block copolymer thin films. Simultaneous integration of various metallic elements, including Pt, Au, and Co, into the self-assembled morphologies generates multimetal complex nanostructures with highly interconnected morphology and a large surface.

On average, these cysts measure 10 mm to 20 mm in diameter and are located preferentially on the postero-superior aspect of the glenoid. The MRI has increased the frequency of the diagnosis of paralabral cysts of the shoulder joint.

Methods: Between August 2004 and December 2007, we used the ADSF technique in 16 cases of isolated comminuted, displaced GT fractures. The early clinical results were evaluated in these patients at a mean of 24 months (range, 16 to 51 months) after surgery.

Deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism are rare complications after arthroscopic knee procedures. Most of the cases of thromboembolic complications reported to have involved unilateral knee arthroscopic patients; here, we report the cases of patients with bilateral knee arthroscopy. The patients were treated with anticoagulants and thrombolytics and subjected to necessary laboratory monitoring.

Greater tuberosity of the humerus malunion is relatively uncommon, and open techniques are the treatment of choice in most cases. Recent advances in arthroscopic techniques for treatment of greater tuberosity fractures have produced promising results. The use of arthroscopic techniques for the treatment of proximal humerus malunion, however, has been reported only rarely in the literature.
