In the delivery room, fetal well-being is evaluated through laboratory tests, biosignals like cardiotocography, and imaging techniques such as fetal echocardiography. We have developed a multimodal machine learning model that integrates medical records, biosignals, and imaging data to predict fetal acidosis, using a dataset from a tertiary hospital's delivery room (n=2,266). To achieve this, features were extracted from unstructured data sources, including biosignals and imaging, and then merged with structured data from medical records.
View Article and Find Full Text PDFBackground And Objective: The ability to inhibit aggregation has been demonstrated with synthetically derived ginsenoside compounds G-Rp (1, 3, and 4) and ginsenosides naturally found in 20(S)-Rg3, Rg6, F4, and Ro. Among these compounds, Rk3 (G-Rk3) from needs to be further explored in order to reveal the mechanisms of action during inhibition.
Methodology: Our study focused to investigate the action of G-Rk3 on agonist-stimulated human platelet aggregation, inhibition of platelet signaling molecules such as fibrinogen binding with integrin αβ using flow cytometry, intracellular calcium mobilization, dense granule secretion, and thromboxane B secretion.

Here, we tested the effects of the soy isoflavone genistein on antioxidant enzymes in DU145 prostate cancer cells. Genistein significantly decreased reactive oxygen species levels and induced the expression of the antioxidant enzymes manganese (Mn) superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase, which were associated with AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) and phosphatase and tensin homolog deleted from chromosome 10 (PTEN) pathways.

Objectives: To evaluate the effect of rec-FSH on the ovarian follicular environment in controlled ovarian hyperstimulation (COH) cycle, we compared the expression of the markers that have been reported to reflect the follicle health.
Study Design: A total of 31 women (<35 years) with normal ovarian function were allocated to three different COH protocols (urinary FSH (u-FSH)+hMG, rec-FSH only, or u-FSH only). E2, P4, leptin and IGF-I levels in serum or follicular fluid (FF) were measured with radioimmunoassay; cyclin D2, EGF receptor (EGF-R), and inhibin-alpha mRNA levels in luteinized granulosa cells were measured with RT-PCR; and IGFBP-4 and PAPP-A levels in FF were measured with Western blot analysis.
