Use of 2Shape® File in Adaptive Kinematics Influences Post-operative Pain After Single Visit Endodontics in Symptomatic Irreversible Pulpitis: A Double-blinded, Randomized Clinical Trial.

Objective: This double-blinded randomized clinical trial aimed to compare postoperative pain using 2Shape® (TS) in rotary (TSRot) and adaptive (TSAK) kinematics in the maxillary and mandibular molars in patients with symptomatic irreversible pulpitis and symptomatic apical periodontitis following single-visit endodontic treatment.

Methods: Seventy patients were randomly assigned to two groups (TSRot /TSAK), (n=35 each). The preoperative and postoperative pain intensities at various time intervals up to 72h using a Visual-Analogue Scale was noted.

Phosphoric acid treatment enhances adaptation of glass-ionomer cement to bioceramic sealer-conditioned dentin.

Background: This study evaluated the interface between fresh eugenol/bioceramic sealer-conditioned coronal dentin and high-viscous glass-ionomer cement (HVGIC), treated with various dentin conditioners (saline, 10% polyacrylic acid, and 37% phosphoric acid).

Materials And Methods: Standard endodontic access preparation and instrumentation were done in 21 freshly extracted mandibular molar teeth in this study. Teeth were divided into two interventional groups ( = 9/group), based on the type of sealer (zinc oxide eugenol [ZOE]/bioceramic [BioRoot RCS] sealer) used for obturation.

Endodontic management of double dens invaginatus in maxillary central incisor.

This case report deals with the successful endodontic treatment of double dens invaginatus in maxillary left central incisor. Dens invaginatus is a rare developmental anomaly that is challenging to diagnose and treat. A patient reported with unesthetic appearance and previously attempted endodontic treatment of tooth #21.

Mandibular first molar with a single root and single canal.

Successful endodontic management of mandibular first molar with a single root and single canal is diagnosed with the aid of dental operating microscope and multiple angled radiographs. In addition all the mandibular molars and premolars were single rooted on either side.
