Wheelchair-related accidents: relationship with wheelchair-using behavior in active community wheelchair users.

Objective: To report the prevalence, mechanisms, self-perceived causes, consequences, and wheelchair-using behaviors associated with wheelchair-related accidents.

Design: A case-control study.

Setting: Community.
