Splitting of water into hydrogen and oxygen has become a strategic research topic. In the two semi-reactions of water splitting, water oxidation is preferred to the four-electron-transfer process with a higher overpotential (η) and is the decisive step in water splitting. Therefore, efficient water oxidation catalysts must be developed.

Methods: From April 2015 to December 2017, a total of 69 patients were enrolled in this study. All patients were confirmed to have MCNs (31 patients) or SCNs (38 patients) by surgical pathology.
Background And Aims: To determine the value of contrast-enhanced endoscopic ultrasound (CE-EUS) for differentiation of pancreatic cystic neoplasms (PCNs).
Methods: From April 2015 to December 2017, 82 patients were enrolled in this study. All patients were confirmed to have PCNs by surgical pathology.
Intrauterine hypoxia (IUH) is a common intrauterine dysplasia that can cause programming of the offspring cardiovascular system. In this study, we hypothesized that placental treatment with spermidine (SPD) can prevent heart injury in neonatal offspring exposed to IUH. Pregnant rats were exposed to 21% O or 10% O (hypoxia) for 7 days prior to term or were exposed to hypoxia and intraperitoneally administered SPD or SPD+difluromethylornithine (DFMO) on gestational days 15-21.

The speciation and transformation kinetics of Pu(IV) and its colloids in highly saline groundwater have, however, been rarely studied. In the present study, groundwater (Ionic strength 1 M) from Dunhuang region, NW China, was collected for investigating the speciation, transformation kinetics and fate of spiked Pu (IV) with aging time.

There are several applications that can successfully induce reproductive behaviors and the acquisition of gametes and embryos for physiological or molecular research. Amphibians contribute to one-quarter to one-third of vertebrate research, and of interest in this context is their contribution to the scientific community's knowledge of reproductive processes and embryological development.

However, the resection of superficial neoplasia at the EGJ by ESD remains challenging, and the long-term clinical outcomes of curative and non-curative resections based on histological criteria remain unclear. We conducted a retrospective analysis on the safety and efficacy of the ESD and ESTD procedure with these patients.

Although many efforts have been made towards improving the stability of PSCs, the thermal stability of PSCs with CHNHPbI as a perovskite and organic hole-transport material (HTM) remains a challenge. In this study, we employed the thermally stable (NH)CHPbI (FAPbI) as the light absorber for the carbon-based and HTM-free PSCs, which can be fabricated by screen printing.

Methods: Between October 2017 and March 2018, 8 patients who underwent ccESTD and ASGS were included. We assessed the occurrence of esophageal stenosis and adverse events.
Although endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is gradually becoming a first-line treatment for superficial esophageal neoplasms (SEN), strictures occur in almost 100% of cases after circumferential ESD. A standard method to prevent stricture has not been established. Thus, we propose a novel self-help inflatable balloon to prevent stricture.

Through the tunnel, endoscopic diagnosis or treatment is performed for lesions in the mucosa, in the MP, and even outside the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. At present, the tunnel technique application range covers the following: (1) Treatment of lesions originating from the mucosal layer, .

In numerous progressive glomerular disease models, treatment with valproic acid (a class I HDAC inhibitor) or SAHA (a pan-HDAC inhibitor) mitigated the degree of proteinuria and glomerulosclerosis, leading to a striking increase in survival.

At present, the endoscopic therapeutic approach in NAD-LSTs has not been clearly established. The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of ER for NAD-LSTs and to evaluate the risk factors for delayed perforation after ER of NAD-LSTs.

Aim: To assess the efficiency of endoscopic trans-esophageal submucosal tunneling surgery (EESTS) technique for diseases located around the aorta ventralis.
Methods: Nine pigs were assigned to EESTs. The procedures were as follows: First, a long esophageal submucosal tunnel was established.
Two-dimensional tungsten sulfide is widely applied in electrocatalysis. However, WS possesses catalytic active sites located at the layer edge and an inert surface for catalysis. Therefore, increasing the exposure of active sites at the edge and effectively activating the inert sites on the surface is an important challenge.

Although many measures could be used as prophylaxis for post-ESD strictures, a well-accepted method has not yet been established. We propose using a triamcinolone-soaked polyglycolic acid sheet plus fully covered metal stent (TS-PGA+FCMS) as a novel method to prevent stricture formation after large esophageal ESD.

By adding moderate amounts of methylammonium chloride (MACl) into MAPbI perovskite precursor, we found the - hysteresis of carbon-based PSCs could be significantly alleviated and the crystallinity of MAPbI perovskite could also be influenced. With the increasing amount of MACl, MAPbI perovskite showed better and better crystallinity until the MACl came to 0.

Decreasing the lengths of the tunnel and myotomy may be an effective method for reducing this rate. This study aimed to assess the safety and efficacy of using a short tunnel versus a standard tunnel for POEM.

Background: Phosphatase and tensin homolog (PTEN) is an important tumor suppressor gene, and its encoded protein has activities of both a protein phosphatase and a lipid phosphatase. However, the substitution effect of protein phosphatase activity remains unclear. PI3K/Akt is the most common pathway negatively regulated by PTEN.
