Migraines are one of the most common and expensive neurological diseases worldwide. Non-pharmacological and digitally delivered treatment options have long been used in the treatment of migraines. For instance, migraine management tools, online migraine diagnosis or digitally networked patients have been used.

Abstract: Primary Ewing's sarcoma (EWS) of non-sacral spine is extremely rare, especially in middle-age.
A 54-year-old woman consulted the emergency department for abdominal pain, vomiting and fever for 5 days. A biochemical assessment was performed and showed a lipasemia higher than 5 times normal range (264 UI/L). Hyperlipasemia is in favor of acute pancreatitis.

The distinction between tuberculosis and sarcoidosis presents sometimes a clinical challenge. Their sequential occurrence in the same patient is uncommon. We present the case of a 42-year-old female with a proven diagnosis of tuberculous lymphadenitis who has developed successively nasal tuberculosis and pulmonary sarcoidosis respectively after 10 and 14 months of antituberculosis treatment.

Methods: EMRs from January 2013 to December 2016 were mapped onto the Observational Medical Outcomes Partnership-CDM (OMOP-CDM) schema. Vocabulary mappings were applied to convert source data values into OMOP-CDM-endorsed terminologies.

Background: Liver transplantation (LT) activities during the COVID-19 pandemic have been curtailed in many countries. The impact of various policies restricting LT on outcomes of potential LT candidates is unclear.
Methods: We studied all patients on the nationwide LT waitlists in Hong Kong and Singapore between January 2016 and May 2020.
Non-recurrent Laryngeal nerve is constantly associated with Arteria Lusoria. Knowing this association is the basis of predicting this condition preoperatively. Ultrasonography assessment before thyroid and parathyroid surgery should include identification of brachiocephalic trunk division.

Twelve athletes participated in three experimental sessions: one week before Ramadan (BR), during the first week of Ramadan (FWR) and during the last week of Ramadan (LWR). The present crossover study was carried out in Tunisia during the 2013 Ramadan month lasting from 9 July to 7 august.

However, the optimal oxygen saturation target remains unclear. The goal of this study was to determine the optimal range by using real-world data.

Procedure: We describe a method of endoscopic resection of the forehead osteoma, via incisions within the hairline.
Background: Rheumatoid arthritis is an autoimmune inflammatory rheumatic disease that causes chronic synovial inflammation eventually leading to joint destruction and disability. The aim of this study was to determine the variations of hepatic proteins, myeloperoxidase, and iron in rheumatoid arthritis Tunisian patients and their implications in inflammation and in iron metabolism.
Methods: Overall, 172 patients from the Rheumatology Department of the University Hospital "Farhat Hached", Sousse-Tunisia between 2011 and 2012, with rheumatoid arthritis (97.
Enzymatic saccharification of lignocellulosic biomass has been widely studied. Mainly endoglucanases were found to be a prerequisite for the quick initial biomass liquefaction. In the present study, Pichia pastoris was used as a host for the heterologous expression of a Sclerotinia sclerotiorum GH45 endoglucanase, Endo2.

The aim of this work was the expression, as secreted peptide, purification, and characterization of a new recombinant polyHis-tagged camel hepcidin (HepcD-His) in yeast Pichia pastoris. The use of this eukaryotic expression system, for the production of HepcD-His, having 6 histidine residues at its C terminus, was simpler and more efficient compared with the use of the prokaryotic system Escherichia coli.

GD is a rare autosomal recessive disorder characterized by the defective function of the catabolic enzyme β-glucocerebrosidase (GBA), leading to an accumulation of its substrate, glucocerebroside. Clinical signs and symptoms include neurological dysfunctions, bone infarcts and malformations, hepatosplenomegaly and hypersplenism leading to anemia, neutropenia and thrombocytopenia.
