Veterinary practitioners often prescribe many controlled drugs to animals that may include sedatives, tranquilizers, and painkillers. Unfortunately, many of these drugs are drugs that can be abused by humans, especially among the pet owners. Adequate measures are required to prevent or detect the misuse of veterinary drugs.
