Background: Myofacial pain dysfunction syndrome (MPDS) is of the commonest form of orofacial pain encountered in the clinics. Though, many therapies have been suggested in the recent past, still the management of this condition remains a therapeutic problem. The search for newer, relatively safe and effective long term approach lead to the use of magnetic stimulation in pain modulation.

The prevalence rate of impacted primary teeth is rare, still we can see impacted teeth in ectodermal dysplasia anhydrotic (EDA), endocrine deficiencies, metabolic disorders and local factors like cysts, tumors, trauma and thickened overlying bone or soft tissue. In cases of EDA, delayed tooth eruption is one of the characteristic finding. Present case report related to a rare case of primary teeth impaction of a 3 years old male child along with EDA.

Materials And Methods: This is a prospective intervention study conducted with 1000 teachers (500 urban, 500 rural) randomly selected from the entire government and private, primary (elementary) as well as secondary (high) schools of Nellore district of Andhra Pradesh, India. Study was carried out in three phases; the first phase being an initial survey conducted to assess the existing knowledge of teachers on management of traumatic injuries by using self-administered questionnaire.
