Self-Limited Primary Cutaneous Rosai-Dorfman Disease: A Case Report and Literature Review.

Rosai-Dorfman disease (RDD), also known as sinus histiocytosis with massive lymphadenopathy (SHML), is a rare, benign, and self-limiting disease. Cutaneous Rosai-Dorfman disease (CRDD) is an exceedingly rare extranodal variant, which is strictly limited to the skin and is easily misdiagnosed. We present the case of a 47-year-old Chinese woman with primary CRDD and a review of relevant literature.

China's growing contribution to global intracranial aneurysm research (1991-2012): a bibliometric study.

Background: We sought to analyze the growing worldwide trends of intracranial aneurysm research, investigate China's recent contribution, and compare the contributions of mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

Methods: Global and China intracranial aneurysm-related publications were retrieved from the Web of Science database from 1991 to 2012. Excel 2007, Matlab, and Thomson Data Analyzer (TDA) software were used to analyze the search results for number of publications, cited frequency, h-index, and organization contributions.

Overexpression of RPS6KB1 predicts worse prognosis in primary HCC patients.

RPS6KB1 (ribosomal protein S6 kinase, 70 kDa, polypeptide 1) plays a key role in regulating protein translation. The role of RPS6KB1 in HCC (hepatocellular carcinoma) has not been fully investigated. This study was undertaken to determine the clinicopathological features and prognostic value of RPS6KB1 in HCC.
