Background: This study evaluated the prevalence of various mental disorders and their influence on mortality outcomes in individuals with cancer.

Methods: The authors' institutional database included patients with cancer diagnosed between 2011 and 2015 who had mental disorders and death information up to 2021. Mental disorders included nonaffective psychotic disorders, affective psychotic disorders, anxiety-related and stress-related disorders, alcohol or drug misuse, and mood disorders without psychotic symptoms.

Proteins, inherently biocompatible and biodegradable, face a challenge in forming stable hydrogels without external chemical crosslinkers. Here, we construct a ring-shaped trimeric SpyTag-fused Proliferating Cell Nuclear Antigen Protein (ST-PCNA) as a core protein building block, and a dumbbell-shaped tandem dimeric SpyCatcher (SC-SC) as a bridging component. Self-crosslinked PCNA/SC-SC Protein (2SP) hydrogels are successfully formed by simply mixing the solutions of ST-PCNA and SC-SC, without chemical crosslinkers.

The use of prostaglandin infusion to maintain patency of the ductus arteriosus in patients with critical coarctation of the aorta (CoA) to support systemic circulation is the standard of care. Background: Efforts to identify risk and resilience factors for anxiety severity and course during the COVID-19 pandemic have focused primarily on demographic rather than psychological variables. Intolerance of uncertainty (IU), a transdiagnostic risk factor for anxiety, may be a particularly relevant vulnerability factor.
