Background: Adalimumab, a new-generation anti-inflammatory agent, exerts its effect through tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α), secreted from immune response cells such as macrophages and lymphocytes. TNF-α has been shown to play an important role in the processes of apoptosis and demyelination, and blockage of its activity may improve neural healing. We report a rare case of anterior cervical disc herniation associated with dysphagia. Solitary fibrous tumours (SFT) were first described by Klemperer and Rabin in 1931. They are quite rare in the central nervous system and some histopathological or radiological similarities to meningiomas and haemangiopericytomas can lead to misdiagnoses as these tumours enhance homogeneously in postcontrast images, and even dural tail sign can be demonstrated.
